I'm writing my experience as a positive and not as criticism, just to preface. My wife and I were greeted in a positive manner to setup an appointment to repair the Air Conditioner on wife's Benz, criticism, just to preface. My wife and I were greeted in a positive manner to setup an appointment to repair the Air Conditioner on wife's Benz, using the extended warranty. We asked about the repair being covered under warranty and were assured it is still in warranty. A few days later I dropped the car off for our appointment, again greeted in a very welcoming fashion. Asking again about the warranty and any issues with it. Was told that the warranty is still in effect till June 11th 2011 no problem. Nothing was mentioned by the service manager (whom I was speaking to)anything different. Was not told before hand this was classified as a maintenance issue and there would be a charge for this service and not covered under the warranty. I felt very misled when finding a charge for $270 because it had "leaked" out 95% of it's freon and was a considered a maintenance issue and not a warranty issue. If I had known that from the very start of the appointment, I would have fixed it myself as a licensed and certified heating and cooling mechanic. I never received any call or notions that it was any other than a warranty issue. Besides if I install a product and it fails or leaks in the warranty period there is no charge to customer unless neglect is involved. Why would I think any different? Rose Jones was no help as she was whom I asked about the warranty to start with and was the one asking for the $270 in repairs. I asked to speak with her manager, was introduced to Ken Moerdyk the General Sales Manager. This was a very good experience as he listened to my complaint then asked me a few questions about how to make the customers experience better. Plainly put, inform the customer up front that charges would occur for this type of repair as it is a maintenance issue and not a warranty (extended warranty) issue. Then the customer can make a quality decision. I would have fixed it myself with no problems and saved the $270, others would have had the work done but not surprised by a bill at the end of the day. Ken agreed with me and removed the charges and asked if there was anything else that would keep me from coming back for service or to make a purchase? I feel both Ken and I learned from this experience and felt I was treated very fair. Ken is an upstanding person, well to work with and hope maybe someday we can swing a new ride when wife's Benz or my BMW wears out. Overall a good experience. Was treated better overall at Sullivan's Parkhill than Twin City BMW. Buy with confidence and ask for Ken Moerdyk, a person I would like to know better as a personally. Thank you Ken. Dave H More
I just wanted to send your department (Randy especially) a note telling you how impressed I was today with your service. I’ve been a little frustrated with my AMG E63 since I purchased it, as I have a had a note telling you how impressed I was today with your service. I’ve been a little frustrated with my AMG E63 since I purchased it, as I have a had a few minor issues requiring visits to you for service, and coming from Charleston, it’s time-consuming. Today’s stop was really exceptional. You finished the car much quicker than I expected, and didn’t charge me for a vehicle to use while it was being serviced. When I went out to my vehicle to leave and found it washed, I was blown away. That is exceptional service, and I’m thankful and impressed. Keep up the great work, and although I hope I don’t have to see you again too soon, I’m sure I won’t be disappointed when I do. Dr. Dan Bommelje More

He communicated several I recently had my Yukon serviced at Sullivan/Parkhill. I have to say that Mark from the service department was excellent. He communicated several times during the two days keeping me completely updated. Because there were several warranty repairs Mark had to communicate with GMC several times to get approvals. Ultimately, all repairs were completed and done quickly. Mark is what I would describe as a “professional” service provider. He is one of the best I’ve experienced. More
I would recommend Sullivan-Parkhill Chevrolet to anyone for a purchase or repair. I do not worry about the job not being done right but I wish it did cost less but such are the times.
