It took HOURS to get the sale done, and it had nothing to do with us. We had everything together. The sale was managed very poorly. The floor manager that day was, in my opinion, rude to his staff (who all appeared to be new) and kind of nonchalant with us. Unsurprisingly, the guy who finally helped us get our car quit or was fired not too long after that, and he was new when he helped us. Anyway, they screwed up the paperwork. Once that was fixed, we were assured everything would be ready to go when we returned to pick up the car. They would make sure the oil was changed and fluids were topped off. They would get the registration paperwork taken care of. Everything should've been fine. When we picked up the car, I would have bet money that they never serviced the car. We were assured they did, however. We were also told before we left they forgot to put both of our names on the registration paperwork. They assured us they'd fix it, and we would get our registration by mail in a couple of weeks. When we didn't get the registration, I called. We were then told there was a problem processing it, though they never bothered to tell us. It was a simple fix, too, which we promptly took care of. That was 18 days ago. We still haven't received the registration. Called again today. Got shuffled around a lot, with everyone saying they couldn't help me. The right people weren't in, even though they were open. Fiance called back this afternoon, and they said, "oh, we just resent everything through Friday" (so 15 days after we fixed the problem. We've had the car just over 2 months. Just had to fill up fluids that were never filled (so, not serviced?). The original CarFax that was sent to us never showed the service dates. After I asked about that, they resent a new one... suddenly with service information included. At this point, I'm inclined to believe they lied to save face. I 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS DEALERSHIP UNTIL THEY GET THEIR STUFF TOGETHER. They are not helpful, and they can't seem to do their jobs correctly. I'd bet money that, if we get our registration this time, it's still not correct. More
My experience in this dealership was not pleasant. We came to sunrise to purchase 2 vehicles for my mom and I. One trade in and one new vehicle, The sales reps Dwayne & Raul ( sorry if I misspelled) were amazing. They were patient with us and tried to work hard to get us what we wanted. However, the sales manager was extremely inconsistent with numbers and unprofessional when speaking to the associates who were assisting us. Which was the first step to an uncomfortable situation, seeing someone who couldn’t demonstrate professionalism in this setting. After that didn’t work another person who’s name I believe is Dominic attempted to assist us. He was extremely dismissive about the situation and our experience. When our frustrations were not heard we decided to walk out and leave. Dominic proceeded to tell Dwayne move on to the next one oppose to finding out how to accommodate us or hear us out. When I went to speak to him at the end about how uncomfortable he me feel and how unprofessional he was, He told me his girlfriend was black as if I stated It was a racial issue. Which just showed a different side of things. The gentleman Dwayne and Raul apologized to us which does help. Overall did not change the experience. This is not an establishment that I recommend people who don’t want to judged by the way they look shop. Edit to add , they against what i asked ran my credit several times . More
Crooks which seem to prey on the elderly Avoid at all costs!!! My parents, which are each 90 years old m, went there with the car they had purchased from Sunrise two years ago, for a state inspection . T costs!!! The car had 6000 miles, no issues and was perfectly maintained After being serviced, my parents were told battery had been disconnected resulting in a check engine error. The inspection could not be completed because it required the car be driven 200 miles first which Sunrise would perform for five hundred dollars My parents paid for an incomplete service and left dealership. Obviously Sunrise has lost a customer and an opportunity to make a tidy profit flipping a trade-in in future! More
I have a 2020 Equinox, they scratched my car on Monday, April 4, 2022, then I brought it back for something else on or around on Tuesday, May 12, 2022 & the scratched it again, I spoke to the Manager, Domi April 4, 2022, then I brought it back for something else on or around on Tuesday, May 12, 2022 & the scratched it again, I spoke to the Manager, Dominik Tolstykh & to John Service Manager about the problem, the Manager suggested that he'll send to Employees to my Apt in Long Island, they would take the car to the dealer then to the Body Shop. The first time I had to Pay out of Pocket for the Loaner from Enterprise & wait 2 to 3 months before I got my money back. Now the Body Shop said that it will take 2 to 3 days, the dealer won't give me a loaner, He's very nasty & doesn't know how to talk to customer & John the Service Manager doesn't care about the customer, he'll do what the Manager tells him. IF YOU DECIDE TO BUY OT LEASE DON'T GO TO SUNRISE CHEVROLET THE PEOPLE WHO CHECK YOU CAR IN ARE VERY PLEASAND, INSTEAD GO TO MILLINIUM CHEVROLET IN HEMPSTEAD.I WILL NEVER GO TO SUNRISE. This dealership are crooks. I bought a 2011 equinox that had a bad water pump. Bad ac compressor. Huge exhaust leak. And bad tires in the front. Chris the sales me told me all issues would be repaired. Car was 11000. After paper work car went up to 18000. When we went to pick car it was not ready. We waited 5 hours only for Chris the sales man to come out and say it was not ready and they would deliver it to us. When the car arrived nothing was repaired but noticed it had a new inspection sticker on it not understanding how it could pass inspection. With a huge exhaust leak and bad tires. When called dealer I was told they do not know what I was talking about. I have left messages and no one will return call. This dealership are crooks and will rob you blind then wash there hands of you after you leave. I reported this dealer to the BBB and to motor vehicle for false inspection. I will also contact the AG of need be. I will continue to write bad reviews about sunrise until I get a response. Chris and Russell the dealership manager are both thieves. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER More
