Was very happy with my purchase until I discovered that an extended warranty had been loaded onto the purchase price. I returned in person to get this cancelled and dealt with Cameron Elliot. Successfully cancelled the extended warranty and was told to wait up to 60 days for my refund. I mailed Cameron a number of times for follow up. He did reply that he would get back to me but failed to provide any concrete information as to where my refund of just over $3000 is. More than 60 days have passed. No refund. I have since paid the car finance off in full. Great car and still a huge VW fan. But very unhappy, firstly to have an extended warranty loaded onto the bill of sale without being told about it, and then having immediately gotten it cancelled, being made to wait for refund. Now more than 60 days still being out of pocket. Why would I take an extended warranty on a demo car from the dealership with remaining new warranty? I find this totally unscrupulous from the dealership and not representative of the standards that I am accustomed to from VW as an organization. More
