Noticed a problem with brakes squealing a few days after purchasing a 2023 Tundra. Took it in was told the front brakes needed work, carfax stated back brakes had been serviced. I recently bought a 2020 Tundra for over $40k. The truck was low miles. The dealership claimed it was in good condition and had been locally owned. After purchasing the truck, I noticed rust on th The truck was low miles. The dealership claimed it was in good condition and had been locally owned. After purchasing the truck, I noticed rust on the frame of the vehicle. I inspected further, and found substantial rust on all the frame welds and undercarriage parts of the vehicle. I called the dealership back to ask about my options, because it was never mentioned that the truck contained rust, and the purchase price did not reflect the issues with the vehicle. The used car manager told me that the truck passed a safety inspection, so essentially it wasn't their problem. He told me I could bring my truck in for service, but I would have to pay them for any service rendered. Now the used car manager and the service manager won't answer my calls. I'm a big Toyota fan, but I will never purchase a vehicle from this dealership again. I wouldn't recommend doing business with them. More
