When I went to pick up the car, as promised, it was washed, waxed, detailed, and ready to go. Aaron took time to review all of the features of my new car. He gave me the opportunity to ask and have all of my questions answered. Aaron has a very positive, upbeat attitude, and a great sense of humor. Why? The time each employee took to answer a question I had at each step in process without losing patience. I was very adamant about recieving the best interest rate possible as I have extremely good cred had at each step in process without losing patience. I wasn't happy that the dealership was trying to add up to 2 points onto the interest nissan offers for tier 0 credit. I was extremely frustrated. After several conversations concerning the interest rate I was finally given a tier 0 rate with no mark up. This back and forth would turn most people away that have great credit. But I have total respect for the salesman trying to get the most for their dealership. As I was trying to get the most for my family. In the end we all shook hands and made a great deal. The time and effort each person put in was fantastic. Aaron went over the user manual. Who does that? I bought about 30 cars in my lifetime not one dealership has ever done gone over the manual. That is a fantastic practice it's very important. Both Aaron and Lou were excellent and I would easily say you have the best two internet salespeople in the business. We look forward to using the free oil changes we received for spinning the big wheel. More
I have been putting off buying a car because in the past it has always been time consuming and a hassle. Recently my husbands colleague purchased a car from Sutherlin Nissan and had only positive remarks about her experience let alone bragging about an unbeatable price. I made up my mind to visit today to try to trade in my old and purchase a car. Normally you go away thinking did I make the right choice and feeling unsure of the decision to buy but let me tell you, I went away with a huge smile and the confidence that I would have been regretting not making the purchase. I know I made the right choice as the deal was too good to be true. I was greeted immediately upon entering the showroom and had the undivided attention of one of the most polite, positive, caring and honest employee's ever, His name is Elvis. He was recommended because of the service received from my husbands colleague and it was truly a pleasure meeting him and I feel like I have made a friend who actually cared about me and the experience I had purchasing this car. I have never had a Nissan before but I know I have made the right purchase and will have this car for a long time. Thank you Elvis and the entire team at Sutherlin Nissan. Keep up the great work! The Car buying process was easy. I was given a price on the car I wanted and the service was exceptional. Elvis was great following up and ensuring everything went smoothly. Now take into consideration no transaction is going to be perfect, and I understand that. Now with that being said there are a couple of things that really peeved me that I am not willing to look past. Car sat on the lot for a year. When the car was delivered it had scratches all over it. I suspect some were from birds and the other noticeable scratches where what is commonly referred to as spider scratches from washing a black car in a drive-thru car wash. Elvis sent the car back to detail and I picked it up the following day once the car was buffed, wet sanded, and clay bared. Most if not all scratches looked to be fixed, or at least I thought so. 1 month later after the car had time to sit in the sun and subjected to some weather, the scratches are back all over the car. I find myself having to wax this car each week to avoid the scratches from showing up. I pretty much have a new scratched car. I held back on submitting this review when originally asked by the dealership until I could test the newly purchased maintenance package that covers maintenance for the life of the lease, or so I thought. I normally do not purchase maintenance plans, they almost are never worth it. The Finance Manager sold this to me when purchasing the vehicle and it was the understanding it covered Filters, Oil Changes, Brakes, and anything wear and tear related with the exception of tires. I thought maintenance like that for less than $400 is a good deal. I'll take it. Now fast forward to my first oil change, I spoke with the service manager and he confirms I do in fact have maintenance covered. It only covers Oil changes/tire rotation, and you get 6 clains for 3 years. 1. This is not for the life of the lease. 2. The plan does not cover any air filters/brakes and other required maintinence as I was told upon signing for the car. 3. The finance Manager lied to me. Am I surprised definitely not. From spending years in dealerships I know people think it's the Salesman who will take you for a ride. Wrong, it will be the Finance Manager who will lie to get extra commission. Now like I said, Elvis and Aaron did a terrific job. The paint issue was quality control both on the Detail Department, and the quality of Nissan paint which has always had its fair share of complaints. I am agitated I was lied to about the maintenance plan, and for sticking me at the end of the deal. I will never buy a car from Sutherlin Nissan. I hope the little extra bit of commission your Finance Manager made selling me a maintenance plan was worth losing a customer. More
