I searched websites, went to dealerships and finally found the truck I was looking for at Silver Star Chevrolet. Jimmy Diaz was fantastic with communication and working on my hectic schedule. His flexibility really helped me to plan to get there. Jimmy handed me over to Juan Mejia which felt easy and seamless. Juan was a great salesperson! He took me on the test drive, was thorough in teaching me about the truck, and helped me navigate through all of the options--and I mean ALL the options. It was great to reach a decision we both felt comfortable with. Next was the finance department that were excellent as well. I feel really positive about the package they put together for me. The final walk through was a breeze as well. Juan did such a good job of keeping me comfortable in a very stressful decision making process. Overall, the experience I had at Silver Star Chevrolet was GREAT!! More

100,000 mile service I brought my 2002 Tahoe in for a 100k service, wanted to check for any recalls,, software updates and general report of its condition. Chevrolet wa I brought my 2002 Tahoe in for a 100k service, wanted to check for any recalls,, software updates and general report of its condition. Chevrolet was advertising of their 3 page thorough vehicle checklist done only by authorized GM mechanics. They had it for the entire day (made a reservation a week ahead of time) and so at 5PM I called to see if it was finished. They said I would get a call back. Got a call and they said they needed to keep it overnight. I arranged for a ride home from my office. Next day, it was going to be ready early in the afternoon. I show up and wanted to get an invoice with what was performed and checked. What I got was a service invoice stating 100,000 mile service and a price just shy of $1,000. The next two days I called for the work performed and the GM multi-page form (and I brought in a magazine add showing the report I was talking about. The following day they said they had one I could come by and pick up. It was the GM form that had check marks throughout the form (all done at the same speed since they were slashes through the boxes). The lack of answers and sloppiness with how this was handle, I brought the Tahoe to my regular mechanic at 105,000 and asked him to do a 100,000 service again and give me a report of its overall health. I went into the dealership in my work clothes which is a suit and tie. Their poor attitude is the reason I would not go back and did not go to them when I bought my 2016 Silverado Z71. Everyone in any business is their ambassadors and those impressions last many years. More
I was originally referred to Silver Star through the Costco auto program. Daniel Ybanez contacted me, and since I knew exactly what I wanted, the entire transaction was completed over the phone. Silver Star didn't even need a deposit. Daniel kept me informed weekly about progress, and made an appointment to deliver the car when it was convenient for me. When I arrived at Silver Star, what a presentation. My car was beautifully detailed and parked under a canopy for display and safety. Daniel explained all of the details of the car and answered any questions I had. Next I saw Mel Otte to do the paperwork. He was as professional and friendly as Daniel. He explained everything I was signing and the extended GM warranty which I also purchased. I was very pleased with the transaction from start to finish. I would recommend this dealership to anyone I knew who was buying a vehicle. It is no wonder that your name is "Silver Star", but in my opinion you deserve a "Gold Star"!! I came into the dealer with a very specific Tahoe in mind and Sebe greated us right away and showed us the type I was into, and I fell in love instantly. I gave him the specifications of exactly what I wanted and himself and John dealt with me and my boyfriend (we're both very picky) and they were so nice and quick to find this (rare) Tahoe. Cant thank them enough! It was far away and they brought it up detailed it and had it sparkling! They didnt waste our time and they did exactly what they said they were going to do, and we have had bad experiences with dealers throwing numbers around and constantly changing things. Mel had all the paper work ready to go, he was very quick and informative. We got exactly what we asked for and could not be happier with Silver Star! We will definately be buying another vehicle from them! I love my Tahoe!!! Thank you again!! Rocky & Pam More
