I made my appointment so it was the first appointment of the day and I had to wait almost 2 hours just to get my oil changed. That’s way too long. The previous owner, Magic Toyota, never made me wait that l the day and I had to wait almost 2 hours just to get my oil changed. That’s way too long. The previous owner, Magic Toyota, never made me wait that long. I don’t know why the new owner, Swickert, can’t do it faster. More
Please read on to see how they sold us a car with 14. 5k worth of undisclosed frame damage, we fought to get the deal nullified and return the car, THEY NOW HAVE THE CAR BACK ON THEIR SITE WITH NO MENTION 5k worth of undisclosed frame damage, we fought to get the deal nullified and return the car, THEY NOW HAVE THE CAR BACK ON THEIR SITE WITH NO MENTION OF DAMAGE! We bought the car long distance, communication was a major pain, with the current market we trudged through. We did an inspection, caught some things, still missed the frame damage. One of the things it caught was an oil drip, Swickard said, “It must be such a small drip our service dept missed it.” My husband flew to pick up the car and drove it 400miles home. Immediately noticed some things were off. We took it to our mechanic who found he had driven all that way with a loose control arm (super dangerous) and escalated it to a Ford OEM Certified shop with a frame machine. They immediately found estimated 14.5K worth of frame damage. Someone had wrecked the vehicle, done a shotty patch job, and the dealership either missed it, or knew and sold it anyway. After their antics I’m leaning toward the latter. We massively lucked out and the local place went to bat for us. Proved the damage was pre-existing and the car unfit to drive. Urged Swickard to refund the deal and send a car transport. It took lots of patronizing phone calls but they agreed in the end. I dropped the car off Monday 5.2 and on 5.3 they already had it back listed on their website. Zero mention of the damage. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS CAR! They told us we’re on our own with the mechanics bills, plane ticket, missed work, etc. I would urge you to stay far, far away from this dealership. Vehicle in question is Black 2018 Ford Expedition VIN - 1FMJU2AT9JEA23659. Let this serve as proof that they know about the damage if someone else is unlucky enough to purchase it. More
