I had a great experience shopping at DCJ. I was looking for a slightly used truck and they put me in a brand new one for the same price. I originally found Tallahassee Dodge Chrysler Jeep online and compared their pricing next to PC, Enterprise, and Dothan. Overall, my impression was they were more competitive with their used Jeep pricing. I contacted them and Brian immediately emailed me, as I am reluctant to give any car dealerships my personal number. Brian was responsive, respectful, and very customer oriented. He entertained my requests and acted on my behalf to accommodate my specific requirements to execute the sale. He was very up front and honest and spared me any cheesy salesman pitches. Refreshing. No pressure on any "extra items" or add-ons. The final price was equitable to all parties and I was pleased with the experience. Not to mention the speed of the paperwork processing. I spent no longer than 1 hour in the dealership. In and out. Brian had most all of my paperwork handled before I got there. Online coordination pre-sale saved me from the dreaded half day stuck in the dealership... I know next to nothing about Tallahassee Dodge Chrysler Jeep as a dealership OTHER than Brian. If your company is as good as your employees, then they are well served and are a quality operation. Sounds like they hired me to write this? Not hardly, I am a self employed engineer and my money is hard earned. I appreciate hard work, customer oriented service and the bottom line. They won my business on price and kept it with follow through. More
Brian Donahue was great to deal with online and in person. He was very straightforward and worked very hard to make the sale work for both the dealership and me. Initially went in last Saturday and met a dealer named Dwayne, while test driving a 2009 Jeep Liberty I noticed the roof was leaking and the headliner was stained. Upon talks we met an agreement on price Dwayne, while test driving a 2009 Jeep Liberty I noticed the roof was leaking and the headliner was stained. Upon talks we met an agreement on price they were going to give me $22,000 on my 2011 Camaro which is reasonable only $900-1200 below book value and the Jeep Liberty was going to cost $13500. I was also assured that the roof and headliner would be fixed free of charge. Since it was late on a Saturday the banks were closed for the loan, I offered to put cash down as long as they would hold it, they said we did not need to do this as we "legally" agreed that I would purchase it and they were going to repair the leak and I would come pick it up exactly 1 week later for the agreed upon price. Thursday I called and we were in the process of finalizing the financial aspect of the deal. At the price of $13500, then I would put $2000 down, thus giving me a total financed of $11500. When he sent me the final invoice the total I needed to finance was 16,679. Upon questioning and being irate I was informed that they would now only give me $18500 for the a camaro which was $3500 less then we agreed on and that the Jeep was going to cost 14,949 which was 1,449 less then we agreed on and they would not repair the roof which was literally dripping water from the headliner. Poorest set of morals, and respect I have ever experienced. So as they said "We work extra hard for military members and make sure our deals go through smoothly and pleasantly" was possibly the biggest lie and fraud I have ever experienced. Also I drove three hours for this vehicle. The sales manager is manipulative and this company truly does not care about the customer. More
Bought a 2013 Chrysler 200. Had a popping noise in front end. Took it in and all they did was tighten bolts. Took it to Panama City and they said it was a tie rod end and a strut. Service department workers end. Took it in and all they did was tighten bolts. Took it to Panama City and they said it was a tie rod end and a strut. Service department workers are idiots! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE!!!! Great customer service until you sign the contract then they treat you like crap! More
The document the dealership uses to present the extended warranty and gap insurance is misleading. There is no check box for declining coverage and this is not explained by the sales staff so it appears as warranty and gap insurance is misleading. There is no check box for declining coverage and this is not explained by the sales staff so it appears as though there is not option but to accept it and shows options with what payments, but nothing about what the payment would be if no options were selected. They used a rubber stamp to indicate coverage declined. How about adding a check box to clear up any confusion. The salesman was friendly, but I wish he had explained the form up front and the option not to select anything, I lost a lot of respect for him and more specifically the dealership. I love the vehicle and am glad I purhased it, but won't be back there to buy another. That is unfortunate for them as we plan to buy a Dart for my daughter this year, but will either get it from the dealership in Quincy or Valdosta. Finally, I am appauled at the trade amount I was offered, absolutely ridiculous. They need to find another person to determine the value of trade-ins, that is another reason I will never use this dealership again. Ironically I should have known, several years ago I came to this dealership to buy a Dodge Ram Pick-up, I ended up getting it from a dealer in Valdosta. More
Brian was a pleasure to do business with. He answered all my questions over the phone and via text messaging. Brian was very responsive to my inquiries. The most important aspect of our transaction was all my questions over the phone and via text messaging. Brian was very responsive to my inquiries. The most important aspect of our transaction was the accuracy of the pricing for my new truck over the phone prior to my visit to the dealership. He was very low keyed, and not pushy about making a deal. Very relaxed experience... Brian is highly recommended. More
Brian Donahue is an amazing car salesman! He really took a personal approach with me. He was honest with me about my financial situation, and offered some real-life advice. I appreciate him so much for the a personal approach with me. He was honest with me about my financial situation, and offered some real-life advice. I appreciate him so much for the time (all afternoon) he took with me. He allowed me to take the car to surprise my wife. From the very first time I called him, (some months ago) through the purchase, I truly believe he had my family's best interest at heart! God Bless you Brian!! More
I wasn't looking for a new car, but I got one. The 2009 Liberty Jeep, I bought in November of 2012, was a great car, never had a problem with it, until now. Whom ever owned it before, towed it behind 2009 Liberty Jeep, I bought in November of 2012, was a great car, never had a problem with it, until now. Whom ever owned it before, towed it behind another, they were nice enough to leave the braking system needed for this under the jeep, very close to the air conditioning condenser, so guess what none of my warranties covers it, why, because it is a hazard not mechanical. The repairs are 800.00 and up. I'm very upset go outside and get some fresh air. Jesse David Sanders Jr. starts talking to me, I tell him the story, he verifies everything is said, He wants to see if I qualify for this program they have going on, because I only bought the Jeep in November didn't think I wood, guess what, I did. By this time I have all kinds of sales people talking to me, sorry I can't remember all their names, they were all great. I'm in retail sales so I know somewhat of what it's like. After seeing several cars, they were in my price range, but to small, they started showing me, a 2013 Dodge Durango, the first one was out of price range, (I really liked this one, it had everything I needed on it) but the payments were way out of my range. The second 2013 Dodge Durango was closer to what I could afford, so I bought this one. I had been talking to Derrick White also he a great asset to the team, he was showing me some of the features and the in's and out' of the Durango he was very knowledgeable. Jesse David Sanders Jr. and Derrick White great work, and the other employee' s Thank You sorry I can't remember all the names. I really miss my Jeep, I hated to trade it in, because of what happened. The Durango seems to be a great. I'm not crazy about it yet, I may have to just used to it. Thank you all so much Diane More
I very much appreciated the ability to conduct essentially the entire negotiation process via email. Brian was very helpful and accommodating during the process.
