My wife and I traveled from two hours away to negotiate and purchase a new vehicle from this dealership. The price was agreed-upon and a deal for the trade of my current vehicle was also worked out. We were to return 48 hours later to pick up the vehicle and drop off the trade. I received multiple phone calls reminding me of the need for a cashiers check and the time to pick up the vehicle. At no time during the negotiation or any of the follow-up calls was I made aware of the fact that this new vehicle was damaged and repaired by the dealership. On our arrival, we met with the salesman who informed us that our vehicle was damaged and the cost of the repair (he showed me the repair bill)was $1611. The salesman and the sales manager both insisted they did not know the vehicle was damaged even though it was repaired at this very dealership. The dealership was going to be paid for making the repairs then charge me the previously negotiated price for what we thought was a new, non-damaged vehicle. When my wife and I asked for some sort of reduction in the price related to the damage, the sales managers did not respond. He stood there looking at their invoice for the repairs. It was as if he was wondering how we had seen that they repaired the vehicle. He then shifted to feigning offense and we were shown the door, literally. The deal was terminated. At no time did my wife or I raise our voice, use profanity, or in anyway act offensive or abusive to the salesman. It was quite a bizarre way to treat someone with whom you are selling a product when you were the very party withholding key information about the transaction. It is as if they don’t like being questioned about less than forthright dealings or they could care less about actually selling vehicles. I called and spoke with several of my friends who live in Tallahassee making them aware of our experience. One of them knew the general manager. I was called several hours later by the general manager who gave an apology while explaining that the dealership is “not required” to disclose damage. Unlike the sales manager, he did take time to explain the background of the damage vehicle and apologized for our experience. We were offered a $500 discount if we still wanted the vehicle and it would be transported to us. He was the only person who attempted to regain our trust. Driving it home I knew something was wrong as soon as I hit the interstate and drove it over 45 mph. Sounded like a window was open in the back with air coming in the hatch area of the SUV. Took it to Nissan. They said it had been wrecked. I did not pay the price of a wrecked car. It was sold as non-wrecked. Car fax was clean,however. Fast forward to 15 months later. I still have the car. Tried to work with three different people. They all made a gesture that did not fix it. Final straw was this past August. Asked them to at least pay off the loan so I could get another car that does not have a roar coming from the back seat. The third guy to "help me" said he would do that or find me another car like it. I said go ahead. Never heard back. Emailed him. Said he would "get back to me". Never heard back. Emailed again. Never heard back. That made 3 people there who just dropped me and my car situation. Called and left message for the manager of the dealership. Never called back. Boy they sure left me out in the cold and out of all of this, I was the one who was left holding the bag. Or in this case, making payments on a "good used car" that was actually not that at all. NO ONE WOULD STEP UP AND DO THE RIGHT THING. Not fair. Not good customer service at the very least. More
Goodwill Warranty Wanted to reach out and thank Greg and Fred for giving me a goodwill warranty on a check engine light that came up right at the end of my warranty on Wanted to reach out and thank Greg and Fred for giving me a goodwill warranty on a check engine light that came up right at the end of my warranty on bumper-to-bumper coverage. Technically I had gone over the 36K miles, but had scheduled the appointment before I had gone over and they are honoring the repair under my warranty. The part is on back order but they cleaned my car in the meantime which really made my day! Thanks Tallahassee-Lincoln Ford for making this experience exceptional. More

Interest rates presented in a misleading way. Billy was very patient in showing me multiple trucks that had the options I was looking for. When I chose a truck, he ran the figures through finance. The figures came back and all looked acceptable except the 7.99% finance rate. Billy said "the guy" did it at the highest rate but it would probably be better depending in my credit score. I went home to clean out my trade and returned an hour later to complete the deal. I got into finance with Matthew and he discloses the rate is an automatic 7.99% from Ford or all rebates are lost. Common sense tells me that everyone at Tallahassee Ford understands the programs based on sales volume. I don't have an issue with the truth however I DO have an issue when the full truth is not disclosed from the beginning. Then I'm told that I MUST give them a five star rating. I was also requested to please NOT payoff or refinance the truck for at least 90 days or Matthew would not get paid. Just poor ending to a decent presentation. The 20 year 200k warranty sold the truck. More

Amazing Professional #1 Service Amanda was Instrumental in getting my 89 year old Dad back on the road while he was traveling from Panama City Beach to Cocoa Beach, FL with a 16' tr Amanda was Instrumental in getting my 89 year old Dad back on the road while he was traveling from Panama City Beach to Cocoa Beach, FL with a 16' trailer in tow. While on I-10 , his Ford 150 truck started to shake and shimmy ang the Engine warning lit up. He had to get off the highway, unhook the trailer and find a Ford dealership fast. When he got to Tallahassee Ford, he explained that he needed to get the truck fixed ASAP, and get back on the road with the trailer and drive another 6 hours to Cocoa Beach. She took him in and made sure that his Truck wes attended to and it was fixed in only a few hours. He was able to go back to where he had unhooked the trailer, hook it back up and he made it to his destination that evening. She saved him from having to stay in a hotel overnight, and he was able to make it to his Grandsons house that same day! He said that Amanda Walser was amazing and that he would recommend her to anyone needing service at Tallahassee Ford! More
