Overall, my experience was excellent with Tamaroff Nissan. I was in and out in 45 minutes which was great since they had quoted me 1.5 hours when I setup my appointment. My only issue was price which is why I rated it at "Good". Normally, you would pay $60 to have your local Oil Change place swap out the transmission fluid. I guess since the transmission type in my Nissan Altima is CVT, it requires a really expensive fluid. Other than that, a quick and painless experience with the Tamaroff service department! More
Have been having problems with my 2004 Maxima that has been stalling and losing power. A very stressful situation. They diagnosed the problem. Installed new sensors and test drove the car. the employess were nice and friendly. The work was superb. The only thing I didn't like was that my car was brought in at 7:06 a,m, and it was ready at 8:17 a,m, (your shuttle took me to work) No superb. Wanted to know why cigarette lighter not working. Tech says they would have to remove the entire electrical system to find out . That was not an acceptable response. I am new to the Southfield area and I needed somewhere to go that was fast and efficient for an oil change during my lunch hour. Chris and Matt went above and beyond to make my service experience a great one. With the recent closing of Macomb Nissan, the next closest Nissan dealership to my home is about a 1 1/2 hour drive. I originally had an appointment scheduled with another dealership that day. However, once I reached that dealership after the long drive, the service manager told me that I had been misinformed about my appointment and told me that my vehicle could not even be looked at for at least another 4 days since his service dept was "booked." I explained to him that I had previously spoken to one of his service employees about the issue I was having with my vehicle and was told that my car could be looked at that day. The service manager was very rude and merely said that was wrong information and that he had no explanation as to why I had been told to come in. I left that dealership and called Tamaroff. Chris was very accommodating, and even though their service dept was also extremely busy that day, he was willing to help me out since I was in the area and had made arrangements with my own place of employment to take time out of my schedule to have my car serviced. When I arrived to Tamaroff, it was a different experience than I had received at Suburban Troy Nissan. The staff was very friendly and seemed much more knowledgeable about my vehicle. They took great care in diagnosing the issue and making sure the proper repairs were handled. Even though Tamaroff is not the closest service dealership to my home, I would highly recommend their service department and would definitely return there in the future if the need arises. More
