This was our first time at the service department of this dealership. We just bought our Odyssey Elite a couple months ago. I was a little nervous bringing my brand new, very expensive Odyssey Elite to t dealership. We just bought our Odyssey Elite a couple months ago. I was a little nervous bringing my brand new, very expensive Odyssey Elite to the dealership service department to have the work done on it for three recalls. This car cost as much as our first house. I explained to the gentleman, Josh Cook who was there to receive me, that I was nervous about leaving my car there as it was my first time. He said they would take very good care of it. He seemed very sincere when speaking with me. When I went to pick up our car I dealt with another fine young man, who not only checked me out but also printed off a set of papers telling me when I needed to have service performed on our car. He was very helpful and very kind. Unfortunately I do not know his name. Perhaps looking at the records under our name and Josh Cook‘s name on the date and time we were in the service department someone can find the gentleman’s name. He should be commended for the kind way he listened to me and the fact that he did more than just the usual checking me out. All in all it was a pleasant experience. Much better than the experience we went through when purchasing the car. The salesman did his job well as he was taught. But we wanted to pay cash for the car and we were forced into being made to finance the car. There were so many lies told to us. There was much intimidation tactics that were tried on us. We tried our best over the next week to sort some of that out with the financial people. Let me say again that the salesman did a good job following what he was taught. Personally we liked him and realized that he was only doing what he was taught and really was caught in the middle. We felt really bad for him as none of it was his fault. It was just the people that were above him and the financial people. We appreciate the much better experience with the service department as we want to have a long and happy relationship with Tameron Honda in Hoover Alabama. Thank you. More
