So Matt, our salesman gets 6 Stars hands down. In fact he is the only reason for any stars. If this was a rating just for his service it would be 100%. The finance guys were shady at best and switched our way to pay agreement after we sat there 3 long hours at the last minute, which forced us to either Finance or leave wo the car we ordered and waited a month for after waiting 3 whole hours to be told this very last minute at 10 o'clock at night! If you go ask for Matt J, be careful when dealing with the finance guys and sales managers though. Felt like bait and switch tbh. In the end the deal was good and we got a great trade in value but that was all thanks to Matt's hustle and excellent customer service. If It wasn't going to take the commission away from Matt we would have walked away from Tameron after the way we were tricked imo into finance at the last moment and told we couldn't pay the way we wanted which was a mix of cash and credit for the small balance after the trade although we were assured this would be okay when ordering the car a month prior and using a credit card for the down payment which was no issue. The whole thing felt a little dirty to me and I honestly won't be back. Our salesman did a fantastic job he's the only reason they got to sell out of us that day to be honest. I felt like they tried to trick me into more than I wanted several times, not our salesman Matt, but it was a sales manager who one moment told me I couldn't get a base model car without 3K worth of extra things that I did not want. I was told that that was just how they did it and I wasn't allowed to get it the way I wanted it basically. We were called back about 20 minutes after we left and he said he had made a mistake and apologized we then made a deal for me to come back and order the car, all of that went okay but was more hassle than it should have been and again was not the fault of our salesman but it was more of a finance issue and a sales manager issue. To sum it up we had a great salesman that I would give an a+ to because he worked his tail off for every customer he had and did everything he could to make us happy, I give Tameron the dealership itself an f for their dishonesty and what we all three felt like was trickery. In the end I do have a car I love and have enjoyed so far in the last few days glad the whole thing is over because it was not a favorable experience by far and I would honestly never go back to the dealership for a future purchase. Also keep in mind all this when I and my family had to drive over an hour to get to the dealership, we even made sure everything was still as we discussed it by text before driving up there because we did not want it to be a wasted trip then after we get there things change but not right away... 3 hours after we had sat there. I think most people would agree that sounds awful strange that they would not at least tell us right away or tell us before we made the drive when we asked in the text. Hoping Matt the salesman finds himself a place with more honesty and flexibility and how they treat customers after he has made the deal. Customer service was definitely lacking everywhere else except for our salesman so no I would not recommend Tamron Hyundai however I would recommend our salesman if you decide to go there because you would be in the best hands you could be in. He has even called me several times since to check on my car and help me get the Blue Link set up, so not only did he treat us great while selling us the car but he has continued to go above and beyond afterwards.
