I think it's the sales team's responsibility to know the information before they say they are sure. The sales manager did the same thing, said he was sure about this, and it was hundreds of dollars of difference. To me, as the customer, he lied. He wasn't sure, he just wanted to back up his salesman. This is a huge problem, and comes as a shock. We had been prepared to pay cash, and was told we would save money financing for a month. For a $20 - $30 max fee. I'm very happy with my Santa Cruz. That is the only thing that saved the day.
