We worked with the 4 people mentioned above - the general manager, Chris, Bill O'Reilley, Erik the Finance manager and Darren M, the sales member - to get my sister a new CRV. They were excellent, knew exactly what they were talking about and found the best possible deal that would fit my sister's budget and went out of their way to make her happy with her purchase. We've been some 28 year customers at this Honda and since the new comers took over, I trust these 4 men totally and wouldn't go to anyone else anymore. However, I haven't met them personally, but whilst waiting for my car service I've seen some employees who were very uncourteous to customers - this could be worked on some more. Otherwise, it has improved since 2 years ago when I couldn't even get through even to the internet people to purchase a new car as I never got a return call. For myself I feel that the Service Center requires a bit more work, courtesy and honesty, thoroughness, and not make one come in when it's not necessary. More
I met with Sales Manager, Jordan Rabadi, who greeted me cordially and paired me with Sales Consultant, Richard Johnson. I asked to compare prices on a new leased car, and I was given sufficient information to make my decision, ultimately resulting in a sale. Richard was extremely thorough answering all of my questions right through to orienting me on how to use the new car, as I changed models from my previous car. He was patient and very courteous. I had been to this dealership in the past and found it to be very unfriendly. Today I experienced a totally different culture with the the two gentlemen I dealt with, Jordan and Richard, and I will highly recommend the dealership to friends and family. John Nicholson was very friendly. We aknowledge that he was newly hired as a salesman but he was very friendly to accomodate me, my husband and our two young children through the process of buying our firs was newly hired as a salesman but he was very friendly to accomodate me, my husband and our two young children through the process of buying our first used minivan. He was very diligent with following up with us with documents needed to complete the process. He also called several times to make sure that we made it safely home and we were pleased with our purchase. He kept in touch when the DMV needed additional documents. We were both going through for the first time through a new experience (out of state sale/ first used minivan purchase). John was very patient and understanding of our family needs. He was eager to find answers to our questions and concerns. I would have liked to chose the length of the financing. Ed Nunez, the business manager, automatically gave us the longer term without asking if we were all right with it. The experience was very positive overall. More
Brought minivan in for routine service. When I went out to the lot to get the minivan, there was a hugh dent and a cracked windsheild. I recommend you find another dealer for you services. More

He knew that we were hoping to get our car before our summer vacation to North Carolina - and he did everything in his power to make that happen. We agreed on a price via e-mail, which eliminated the uncomfortable and time consuming haggling that typically occurs. Went into the dealership, filled out the paperwork and was on my way as soon as they were able to prep the car (the initial delivery checklist). So when I walked in the door I already knew that it would probably be a positive experience. Tarrytown Honda doesn't have a very flashy showroom - the carpet's kind of wrinkled, the decor is not flashy, and you have to go through the shop floor to get into the customer lounge. The place does not wow you with "new car smell". But they must spend the money instead on people - Mel Aquino gave me a test drive then got me a great price on a used car I liked. He's the kind of salesman who's an ambassador for his company - down-home, friendly, not pushy, got the job done quickly, knows his stuff. He was patient while I got the insurance details sorted out with my insurer. Once the finances were sorted out, I waited a bit longer than I wanted to for the car to be ready to drive away, but overall it was a great experience at Tarrytown Honda. More
Purchased a vehicle in February. Finally took it home and on the way home realized the radio and all audio wasnt working. Returned the car the next afternoon, which took the dealership almost one month to co on the way home realized the radio and all audio wasnt working. At the same I complained of a "shimmy" and vibration of the wheel. Ultimately after reciving the vehicle a month later. the car started squealing when the brakes were applied and a noise was evident when turning the wheel. had to pay for two out of four new tired and the rooters to be resurfaced only to have the noise return along with the sqealing. was told its just dust. And today (june 20) the car completely would not start. Apparently, they placed a undersized battery in an suv as a bandade. Not fun to be sold this type of vehicle. The battery is no good nor is it for an suv. These people arent honest and have very sketchy tactics with making a sale. When addressing these issues would have cost just a few hundred dollars which is next to nothing when considering a $18,000 sale. TOTALLY SUCKS to be sold a horrible vehicle. More
