After having quite the terrible experience with another dealership in Southeastern MA, I was a little reluctant to go car shopping again. However, I found myself at Tasca Volvo in Cranston, looking for a dealership in Southeastern MA, I was a little reluctant to go car shopping again. However, I found myself at Tasca Volvo in Cranston, looking for a newer model, used Volvo. Lou Colon was my sales person, and he was friendly, nice, honest and informative. I was tough to sell to, but he was easy to work with and both of us were happy in the end. I got the car I wanted for the price I wanted, and he sold me a car! The dealership is clean, they are reputable, and there's no BS. I told him what I wanted and what I wanted to pay, and they came through for me. I love my new Volvo, and will be happy to refer my friends and family to Tasca. By the way, my car is currently in for service right now because upon purchasing it, there were scratches on the hood from the previous owner. They not only acknowledged that as a problem, but I was able to negotiate that being fixed into my purchase price. They were happy to fix it for me, and were kind enough to lend me a 2010 Lincoln MKZ while I wait for my car to be done. Great service, really, I highly recommend Tasca Volvo in Cranston! More
Our sales experience was very good when we purchased the XC-90. George is a great guy who delivered. Service has been unacceptable. No communication from service technician. Ok, so first things first. I almost fell into a purchase that was a higher priced vehicle , and mileage 25000 miles more. Interest was double, no kidding. Because of some tough years credit is not perfect, that was a higher priced vehicle , and mileage 25000 miles more. Interest was double, no kidding. Because of some tough years credit is not perfect, so i was challenging. With nothing bad said about the other dealer ( they can only do what they can do resource wise), thank God I thought twice and went to Tasca. Nicer truck, less mileage, interest rate cut in half, and a service second to none. You guys rock , and I will forever tell everyone about what you did for me , and how truly nice your dealership is. Thank you, sincerely Rob Spencer / Massachusetts resident More

When I told Chris Promades (with whom I have been working for years) that we were looking for a car to replace our previous Volvo (also purchased from Tasca), Chris recommended Mike Mulbah. Mike was great! As I am sure you know, Mike has very good "people skills". He was very clear and helpful in his explanations about the car and the purchase process. I was interested in finding out some of the history of the car. Mike was willing "to go the extra mile" to get me the information I wanted. Overall, he was a delight to work with. Lou Carvalho, on the other hand, was much less helpful when we tried to arrange for the refund of a part of a federal reserve wire transfer in payment for the car. He claimed that "there was no one at Tasca that day with authority to sign a check" and seemed uninterested in trying to find another way to solve the problem. In stark contrast to Mike Mulbah's attitude, Lou Carvalho did not give us the impression that he was willing to help. Overall, the car purchase was a very good experience. In particular, you should be very proud of Mike. James D. Phyfe More
I went to Tasca after seeing their website and hearing their ads about how "You will be satisfied" all the time on the radio. It is a huge dealership, employing about 75 people, with their own m their ads about how "You will be satisfied" all the time on the radio. It is a huge dealership, employing about 75 people, with their own mini eatery upstairs. Tasca is a HIGH VOLUME dealership, so expect choices. I chose a Toyota Sequoia and upon entering the vehicle found it has a VSC OFF and a VSC TRAC light on. These lights were serious concerns for Lou the sales manager, so much so that after haggling over price and my trade in (They gave me 8500 for my 04 Ford F250 with 82,000 miles and no mechanical issues), we settled on 3,000 cash plus my trade. He told me I could not take the vehicle as the lights were a safety issue. I returned to the dealership later that day and the light was off. This was Monday August 13. I drove the vehicle for six days, when one of the O2 sensors rotted off the exhaust, causing the vehicle to be extremely loud, and the VSC OFF, and VSC TRAC light to come back on. They fixed the problem but not to my satisfaction at the time. I had asked them to replace the pipe that the O2 Sensor was on, they said it wasn’t necessary, and that toyota had made an adequate repair, so I took the vehicle and drove it home. FOURTEEN days later, the exhaust pipe rotted off the muffler and the car again became very loud. I again sent the vehicle back, with explicit instructions that I wanted the exhaust system fixed and I wanted the rusted flanges replaced. They picked up my vehicle on Tuesday morning, Sept 4th at my work and left me a dealer car. On Wednesday afternoon, I got a call from Mario their service advisor saying they had not had time to look at it but that he would get back to me when they did. I explained to him as well that I wanted the items fixed that I specified. Thursday evening, I got a call that the vehicle would be ready at 430 PM. I drove the 40 minutes to the dealership (I am not local), and looked first for my old vehicle. It was on their lot for sale for 13,795$. I had traded it in for $8500. They were looking to make 5,000$ in profit from it. I then drove around back to where my Sequoia was that was supposedly fixed. I got under the vehicle and saw that they had not fixed the flanges like I had asked, NOR had they even replaced the exhaust pipe. Whomever repaired it had cut out a 6 inch piece of the exhaust pipe, welded it to the muffler, and painted it black. I was more than not satisfied. After another day of haggling with everyone including David and Jamie Tasca, they were not willing to satisfy me by making all repairs and by returning me some of the purchase price of the vehicle (which I what I had wanted). They did offer to repair the vehicle and give me another 90 day warranty. They also offered to have me purchase another vehicle from them, with the money that I would get back from returning the vehicle and getting my truck. Some of the employees at Tasca were less than helpful. Bruce the service manager, and Tony, the service writer who was there the day I left, were very empathetic and caring. Lou Colon my salesman did what a salesman does, he closed what he thought was a good deal, and he was very concerned about how badly things had gone with the vehicle. Jamie Tasca is their customer service manager, and I have to say she did as good as she could with a rather unhappy customer. They did nothing to offer me compensation for the three days of lost wages, or fuel expenses(there was a point in time where we established that money really wasn't the point anymore. I went today and picked up my old truck, with an empty fuel tank. The step rails I had installed on it had been removed, but Jamie said that they would replace them with new ones of the same design as my old ones. She also asked me to forward them the registration fee to put my old truck back in the plates. While I am now satisfied that this ordeal is over, and I am pleased that Jamie Tasca worked to keep the family motto true as she could, I will just leave this advice. Do your research on the vehicle you want to purchase. Do not rush to a decision. Prior to commiting to purchasing a used vehicle, make sure that you get the vehicle checked by a mechanic, someone you trust, and be persistant about any repairs made in the warranty period. Make very sure you understand the warranty period, and what your options are. Tasca Auto is like any large corporation, but Jamie Tasca takes the family reputation seriously, and they may very well work out great for you. More
From the minute I approached the reception desk, Tasca employees were friendly and helpful. My salesman drove me around the sales lot so I could see models and colors. I test drove the Escape, and the sa employees were friendly and helpful. My salesman drove me around the sales lot so I could see models and colors. I test drove the Escape, and the salesman was informative and patient with this driver who hadn't had a new vehicle in 13 years. The new vehicle was going to mean a HUGE adjustment to technology advances. I ordered the 2013 Escape in the color I wanted. When I went to take delivery, financing and "extras" options were explained to me. MY salesman, Lu, made sure I was comfortable with the Escape before I drove it off the lot, and he has continued to answer my questions as I get used to the vehicle. And I attended a SYNC clinic, during which Lauren answered more questions about the communication and audio systems in the vehicle. Tasca is a great place to buy a car. More

I told him to change the oil and that I would come and get it. Took the car to a reputable station the next day and they put a sticker on the car no problem, it is very well cared for. I should not be afraid to take the car to you for an inspection fearing what could be found wrong even if not part of a state inspection. You did this to me 2 years ago as well and I should have learned my lesson. I will NOT be back there for any service on my Volvo, you are driving customers away. More
