Mhp77, I am very sorry for the poor treatment that you received at my store. Phil has been with my family for a very long time, and its rare that he mistreats a customer. Our pricing and trade figures are usually very competitive. In today's world there is so much competition and information that we have to compete to earn every customer's business. That being said, we sometimes do lose a deal over numbers to another dealer just as we often take deals from our competitors. A difference of $4500 seems like an error was made, and for that I apologize. I also apologize that Phil was not more cooperative and willing to work to put a deal together. There is no question that we failed to earn your business on this occassion. I am concerned that you stated that you have had similar issues in the past, and I would like to help you personally the next time that you are in the market for a vehicle. Kbb trade on my wife's truck is 23400. Black book trade is 17400 to 21900. I was previously offered 19,500 at another dealer. Phil offered me 15000. I was ok with paying tasca price that is posted online. Why would tasca not pay the fair trade price that was posted online. Was only looking for trade I was offered at another dealer, who unfotunately didnt have the exact vehicle we wanted. If I went in and offered 4500 below the Internet Price for your vehicle would you consider selling it To me? I appreciate your response but obviously the numbers speak for themselves and a generic PR statement isn't worth much to me.

Mhp77, After reviewing the details of your vehicle I cannot give it a value of $19,500. The information available based on what I see weekly at several auctions does not justify this value. I also made calls to some local pre-owned dealers and wholesalers that we do business with and I was unable to get anyone to give me a third party trade value close to your figure. Phil will be calling you to present what we can do to earn your business. I am sorry that we cannot accomodate your trade figure. I hope that you do not regard this message as insincere. I appreciate you spending time to take a second look but I did purchase a explorer tonight for the true car price and the trade I was looking for even pushed interest rate down to get payment where I needed it. I was surprised I even got a compliment that he had never seen anyone's numbers so accurate. I wish we could have done business but cars are a big dollar purchase and I need to get the best deal possible. You lookout for your pocket I have to lookout for mine.
