This dealership is second to none! I met my salesman, John Bruno, about 18 months ago when I walked in and told him I was in the market for a pick up truck. In those last 18 months I’ve borrowed, rented, or driven at the appropriate dealerships, a GMC Canyon, Toyota Tacoma, Toyota tundra, GMC Sierra and a Chevy Silverado - 1/2 tons- and finally bought my truck last Saturday. I ended up with a GMC Canyon Denali crew cab in a beautiful candy apple red metallic. I’ve always had two vehicles Being a car along with either a truck or an SUV of substantial size. I have bought many used vehicles and several brand new ones and I have never ever had the experience with any other dealership that I had, pleasantly, with Dick Noris Buick GMC Inc. in Palm Harbor. After I made my decision to purchase rather than lease, Athena, the business manager who is a newer employee at this dealership, prepared the contracts and explained everything, helped me purchase the add-ons that I wished to include in the sale, and went through the warranty options from top to bottom flawlessly and professionally. She was amazing. After the detailing and add-on installations and applications were completed I was taken to my new vehicle where Cameron, another new employee of this dealership, was waiting to explain the interior and operations of the vehicle to me. He wanted to make sure I knew every nuance of this vehicle and how to operate it and everthing in its entirety and he was patiently willing to review everything more than once until I understood and was comfortable and completely thrilled with the purchase. This is an experience that I have never had the pleasure of going through, ever, and I’m still astounded at each individual employee’s Professionalism and performance professionalism and performance. I’ll NEVER go anywhere else!! More
The Service Department is second to none. Ok service,with 1 occasion exception. Recently I had my new tires mounted and balanced in addition to a wheel alignment. The work was performed by Vincent Gonzalez and Lenny DeMarco was my service advisor. I told Lenny that I would be making a 1000 mile trip upon getting my new tires. I have replaced many new parts on my Buick myself in order to conserve money, There are some thing I cannot do and are better left to technicians; in spite of my mechanical aptitude and skills. A few years ago I had the top end of my car sealed and gaskets replaced by Owen Runacres. I was very satisfied and pleased with the exemplary service I received on those two occasions. It is also fair to mention that I have not always been very pleased and I'd like to say why. In 2013 I had the driver's side transaxle shaft replaced and again before a long drive. In that case the part was replaced with a substandard part; which didn't have the correct number of "bellows" on the outboard cv boot, (it had 3) instead of the required 5 as the factory part had, and therefore it failed. I considered that sloppy/shabby workmanship and not worthy of Dick Norris Buick. I have no objection to a re-manufactured part, but I DO expect the correct specification. I still have the boot I removed from that axle and was going to show it to Brent Boostrom; but never got around to it. I have since replaced both axles along with new seals, hubs, struts, rotors, and pads in addition to several sensors. Can you tell I really like and enjoy my Buick? I am slightly particular about good workmanship; that said I have had very good service from Lenny and the back end crew with that exception. I was kinda pissed about that. I will continue to bring my car to the dealership for service that I cannot do myself. Over the years I have numerous other services and "recall" adjustments performed at Dick Norris, all have been mostly satisfatory. There's room for improvement : More
