So, I checked online reviews and found that Hyundai of White Plains had a great reputation based on those who sent in reviews. Their reputation is well-deserved! From my first e-mail inquiry to the time I drove my new Elantra off their lot, my salesman, Phil Picard, was professional, informed and available to look into every detail and concern I had. I did not experience even one moment of haggling - they state their prices clearly and make good on their promises. Phil was respectful and well-trained (kudos to Jeff, the manager at the dealership), answering every phone call and e-mail with full, clear and helpful information every time, even weeks after I took the car home. I called ahead to make check that the car I was interested in was there. They offered to pick me up from the train station to get to the dealership. Jim Pelka clearly explained all features of the vehicle and was able to answer all my questions satisfactorily. I was not pressured at all. I was offered the car for a fair price upfront. The staff was great, friendly and straight-forward. A couple months after purchasing the vehicle (purchased November 2010), I had a few questions about the car and called Jim Pelka. Again, he answered my questions satisfactorily. I did not expect to be a happy customer while purchasing a car, but Jim Pelka and the rest of the staff at Hyundai of White Plains made the entire experience pleasant. More
