Hi Denise, It's Alyssa. We posted back and forth on Facebook. I wanted to apologize again for the troubles this car has been giving your family. Saturday was a rather frustrating day for you and your family not having a car that would start for you while you were visiting family in Danbury, CT. I am sorry that your initial conversation with our dealer representative gave you even more frustrations than you already had stacking on to you that day. The concerns with Dennis have been brought to my attention and the attention with Tasca corporate. I have advised Angel to reach out to Kia Consumer Affairs and speak with a supervisor as your concerns with the unreliability of the car is not catching the ears of the manufacturer. We were left with very few options on Saturday afternoon with accommodating your needs with the vehicle not starting but after speaking with Angel on Saturday, we were going to see if the car started or not on Sunday morning. I offered to pay for the $415 tow bill yesterday using my personal credit card (then would have sought out for reimbursement from Kia myself for you guys) but (not sure if it's thankfully) when the tow driver arrived, he started the car. Again, rendering this vehicle unreliable Angel called me and we spoke about the car and the situation while you were checking out and collecting everything from the hotel room. He gave me the finance information on the Cadenza and I am going to see what options there are in getting him out of the car. That seems to be the last of the few options that would leave him feeling better. Getting another vehicle would put his mind at ease. It is unfortunate that your selling dealer, Kia of Attleboro has left your husband feeling like an orphan since they offered no assistance at all. With such an intermittent concern, last time the vehicle was here, we worked with Kia Techline for some advice for repair because the vehicle, at the time we had it started each and every time. At the dealer level, our technicians will make every attempt they can to source the intermittent problem and I can do what I can within reason to trade Angel out of the vehicle. I am hoping Kia takes acknowledgement of your troubles and steps up to help also.
