I’m after driving home in my 4 Runner with the AC blowing Ice Cold and my washers jets working perfectly. I will continue to use Bill and Expressway Toyota moving forward. Thank you. More
I called early morning and spoke to a women named Kat. I was looking to purchase a Prius prime and she took my card number for a deposit. She told me that a sales manager would call me and to finalize the t was looking to purchase a Prius prime and she took my card number for a deposit. She told me that a sales manager would call me and to finalize the transaction after taking my card number for a deposit. I waited all day for a call and actually card and spoke to her multiple times and she kept repeating the same thing(someone would call me). I finally got fed up and spoke to someone and they told me that the car had sold even though I made a deposit. My wife spoke to a Brian Nadeau he told her that a deposit does not hold a car. I made sure to let him know that I had everything ready to buy it but Kat only took a deposit. The customer service at this dealership was so bad that I wasn't surprised at all that the car had sold even though I made deposit. I would love to speak to Steve Carter the general manager so I can find out why this happened. More

We called the dealership as soon as it open doors to buy a car they had listed. We spoke to "Kat".. We currently live in New Jersey, therefore we were going to purchase the car via phone. "Kat" told us that someone from the sales department would call us back, meanwhile we were told that a deposit would hold the car until someone from their sales department could call us back to finalize the transaction. So we were happy to put a $500 deposit to hold the car we were in love with... Also to be disclosed we offered to pay the entire amount of the car right from the first call we made it to the dealership. We were able to pay via: check, wire transfers, credit card, debit card.. there wasn't going to be any loans process because we had the money outright. When we asked if we could pay for the car.. Kat told us no. Which was a little odd to us but we still went along. The day went by and we never heard back from dealership. We followed up the entire day, calling the dealership asking for updates on the transaction -- as we had already set up a shipping company to pick up the car from the dealership to bring it to us to New Jersey. Each and every time we called they would tell us, all is well and that someone from sales would call us back soon.. Noone ever called.. Finally we got concerned because it was 5 p.m. and we still hadn't heard back. This time around we called and refused to hang up until we spoke to someone that will tell us what was going on. We finally spoke to Brian Nadeau who told us they HAD SOLD THE CAR! I could not believe my ears! I told Brian that couldn't be or maybe he was mistaken. I had given my deposit in order to purchase the car through Kat earlier in the morning. Brian Nadeu is listed to be one of the managers at Expressway Toyota. Brian clearly told me a deposit does not hold my car if I am not there. The priority is given to people that walk in the dealership and test drive the car. (mind you this is not the first car I buy via phone, so I know this is absolutely 100% percent false.) So Brian? you're telling me that you guys sold the car to someone else who came in the dealership despite I did all the right diligence. You said it's first come first serve -- I know we were first because we called the dealership when it first opened.. When we called we: 1. I offered to pay for the car outright when I first called and I was told no. 2. I was told to put a deposit down to hold the car - which I did. ( Weird, because I just wanted to pay for the car in full).. 3. I was told someone from the sales department will contact me to finalize the transaction. But noone ever did. So at 5pm I am notified my deposit is no good and that the car has been sold.. after trying to calm down I asked Brian if there is anything else he can do to help me out figure out another deal along with my budget. He said no- He said they had the car I was supposed to purchase but the brand new ones. Marked about 10k higher.. This is heartbreaking. By definition a security deposit at a car dealership holds the car until the full amount is paid for. I am not a first-time car buyer nor naive. This whole situation it's the result of someone in the dealership not doing their job correctly. I, as a consumer should not be paying for this mistake. I bought cars through Toyota before and this is not how they do business. More

I’ve taken my car to a few shops over the years and they told me I couldn’t replace my auxiliary port or the whole dashboard would have to be removed. I too it to expressway Toyota, they ordered the part an told me I couldn’t replace my auxiliary port or the whole dashboard would have to be removed. It was a great first experience at the dealership. Saurav was very nice and helped made the purchase easy for me. He even helped me with finding insurance.
