Slow deal, fast survey Unlike other Toyota dealers this one initially wanted to charge list price. My wife and I spent hours negotiating a deal with Ozzie and his manager on Unlike other Toyota dealers this one initially wanted to charge list price. My wife and I spent hours negotiating a deal with Ozzie and his manager on Tuesday evening. Both were polite. We were lead to believe that if I showed up today with a check and title (for trade in)things would be quickly taken care of. I called Ozzie and made an appointment explaining that I had 3 afternoon meetings and needed this transaction completed efficiently. When I complained to Ozzie about the extended time everything was taking his response was that he had told me that service would take an hour. Fully two and a half hours later I left without any instruction on use of the features of the XSE RAV4 Hybrid as I had to rush home having missed one meeting and being texted to explain my absence for the second meeting. The fastest part of service in relation to this transaction was the generation of this survey. This was probably the sixth vehicle my wife and I have purchased from what we consider is our local dealer. It is not good to say you appreciate repeat business but not backing it up. During COVID 19 I expected more prompt service. I work in Supply Chain so vendor dealings are what I do. It is sad to see declining service level in action. Next time? More
