We connected bright and early Monday (wrote review Saturday evening!) He was saddened by what happened and helped rectify the situation to my satisfaction. Let me begin by saying this review is solely about the individual identified. The 2021 Corvette Stingray I bought this last weekend is truly an amazing car and the almost one-year wait was absolutely wort individual identified. That said, the service I received from the sales manager, Eric Dawkins, at Vallejo Chevy when I came to pick up my car was unprofessional, to say the least. My only recourse is this review in the hopes that it helps the next buyer avoid the same anxiety, or better yet, help the group owners at this dealership identify and adjust Mr. Dawkins’ behavior to such situations with future customers. The short of it, for the year I waited for my car to be built, I was quoted a firm price. This price didn’t change when I spoke to sales, build, supervisors, etc.. However, when I was told this last Wednesday that the car will finally arrive Saturday in Vallejo, I was also shocked to find a new additional $5,000 charge on my original purchase price paperwork. When I asked what that was, I was told it was "markup". When I came in to pick up the car, I again questioned why this was added last minute. The head of sales at Vallejo Chevy, Eric Dawkins, responses ranged from “…we had discussed this internally so I can’t believe you were not told” to “did you really think I was going to sell a car at MSRP” to “nothing I can do, but you have a choice, don’t buy the car” to “hey the markup is typically $30,000 but we did you a favor and reduced it to only $5,000). Wow! When I requested, we get the folks I had been talking to since October 2020 so they can corroborate I was never told about this markup, he said he would not bother them on Saturday, and that it didn’t matter because he was not going to change his mind on this, period. Now, markup or not, his tone, demeanor, and conduct were unprofessional, to say the least. Could he have apologized for the mistakes the other dealership folks? Could he have confirmed I was saying the truth that no one told me about it and shown sympathy? Heck, could he have thrown in some free car washes or oil changes or tire rotations (which I had to pay extra for!) just to at least make me feel like he understood this was an awful situation? I guess not! So net of it, if you are dealing with Eric Dawkins at Vallejo Chevy, beware. Confirm, not once, not twice, but ad nauseum that the price you are quoted is really what you will pay when you come in. More

I took my brand new 2020 CT4 Cadillac to team because it had a few circles in the paint .when I got my car back it had swirls on the hood and trunk and they refused to correct it. Rocco Marconi went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and got us the best deal possible. We had been working with Rocco for a few months on a purchase and just couldn't find the right vehicle. He assured me that when one came in he would contact us.
