Lots of bad. .but I did like the sales guy. Bad: I purchased a car and asked a financing agent when the bumper to bumper warranty would end. He told me the war .but I did like the sales guy. Bad: I purchased a car and asked a financing agent when the bumper to bumper warranty would end. He told me the warranty wound end in October of 2022 (3 years after the initial Purchase of the vehicle). Car was having a few issues. So, I took it to a dealership to fix. Figured I should fix before the warranty ends, right?! I get texted that the warranty ended August 31st...2 days before I took the car in to the dealership! I spoke to Alejandro at Gilman. He was pleasant enough and sent me the Carfax stating the car was originally purchased October 9, 2019. Said to show as proof of purchase date. He agreed that is when warranty usually begins. Apparently, on car maker’s site it had August 31, not October 9, as beginning of warranty date. The finance that told me October no longer works at Gilman. I spoke to another finances (NOT Alejandro ) at Gilman that said the struts are out and it should be covered by powertrain warranty. He said to call dealership car us at and let them know. Then, later said he did not say that as obviously the struts would not be covered! Then, in his way rude way, he essentially said oh well if Gilman gave me the wrong information. Gilman would d be out of business if the helped every customer that was giver wring information!!!! Wow. I spent $30k in this car, it has less than 20k miles on it, I was told it was under bumper to bumper warranty until October 2022. I have purchased 2 cars from Gilman! I have told others to go there as I was happy until this experience. This will be my last car from Gilman. More
