Overall, I had a very good experience at Team Mazda Vallejo and would give them five stars. I shopped pretty extensively between the Sacramento area and the Bay Area, and this was the best deal I found, with almost no pressure. The finance experience with Ingrid was excellent. She was personable, clear, and efficient, and explicitly said she wouldn’t push extras since I wasn’t interested, which I really appreciated. That part of the process was quick and painless. The main downside was waiting time. There was a longer-than-expected wait between my test drive and getting into finance, much of it spent waiting on my own, plus a final delay because the second key fob had to be retrieved. That was frustrating. That said, the handoff was solid — they walked me through the car, helped set up the MyMazda app, and explained features and break-in guidance. Despite some waiting and a small upsell attempt earlier, this was still the most straightforward and least pressured new-car purchase I’ve had, and I’d recommend them based on pricing and transparency alone. You did not tell me that this was ADDITIONAL service that is NOT recommended in the Mazda factory service plan. Only when I asked did you tell me that this was “extra” or “special” service. 3. After inspection, you reported that I need new rear brake pads. I noted that my brake pad wear seemed excessive (both front and rear replaced with less than 15K miles. After some discussion, one of the other advisors wondered if I lived in the hills, which I do, and which explained the problem. What you did NOT tell me is that there are brake pads for my car that will work just as well and will last much longer. I suspect you did this (a) because you don’t have long-wearing Mazda brake pads; and (b) you cannot recommend non-Mazda parts. I also suspect you did this because the more often I have to come in for new brake pads, the more money you make. In short, I do not think you care about either me or my car except insofar as I am a profit point for your business. I do NOT like feeling like I am only there to be exploited for your gain. More
I was already a recovery… I was sold a brand new car with 20 miles that came with an undisclosed scratch. I was told I would get 3 complimentary oil change, a car detail, and my scratch fixed. My car was returned with the original scratch fixed on the plastic… but a new scratch this time on the paint. The outside car detail was essentially just a pressure wash… and the inside of the car was returned unchanged. The floor mats completely dirty still .. not at all what I expected from a “full detail” . After I get a text from my sales rep asking to fix my review… when she brought the car back without even doing the slightest due diligence. In her position after messing up the initial sale and disclosure of the cars current condition. I would have done everything to make things right, instead when I asked her why no one was returning my calls. She replies, “check the website you can message are service team to make a appointment” are you kidding me if you did your job and disclosed the true condition of the car we wouldn’t be here but now you show 0 effort… then you return my car undetailed (she drove it to my residence). So now your showing you don’t only have no initiative to make your clients happy, have no integrity in your honesty to work, but your just plain f’in lazy, and now you return my car dirty with a new scratch. And ask for a fixed review? If I don’t get serious I mean serious compensation for my time wasted, and this massive hassle. I will be leaving negative reviews on all major platforms such as YELP, Google review etc. because it is absolutely deserved. I will not be recommending anyone to buy their cars from you. Not only that I’m a business owner and already own 3 cars. You most likely have lost a repeat customer for personal use, and a repeat customer for business use. It’s embarrassing I’ve worked sales, and customer service my entire life. The lack of effort is just unjustifiable. More
