I decided to purchase a new car because my current car (2006 Ford Escape) was getting high on mileage and I had put a lot of wear and tear on it during the 8 years I owned it. I am single and wanted to keep my monthly payments at a reasonable amount to fit within my budget. I had been thinking about a Toyota Highlander or Ford Escape when I went out to look at cars. My father and I began our search at another Toyota dealer, but after 3 hours in the dealership and being introduced the beautiful, new 2013 RAV 4, we walked out without ever being quoted an actual price for the car. We next went to look at the Ford Escape and I did not like it at all! We then decided to go check out Team Toyota Scion. I was slightly nervous going there because I knew it was a larger dealer and was not sure what the customer service would be like at such a large dealer. However, from the second my father and I walked in the door we could not have been more impressed with the customer service at the dealer. For such a large, busy dealership, they make you feel like you are their top priority and give you all the individual assistance you need! We were introduced to Michael "Mac" McAteer in sales and he accompanied us on a test drive explaining all of the features in the car. It was really nice that he accompanied us because at the other dealer, we were handed the key to car and sent out on our own to test drive the car without any explanation of features in the car. Any questions I had for Michael while we were out on the test drive, Michael was able to answer. We came back to the dealer and went inside to talk price with Michael. He assured us there was no pressure on us to buy a car, but I told him we would like a price on it. I happened to mention to him in conversation that my father was a retired Philadelphia Police Officer and he instantly told us that we were now qualified for the "PREP" program, which was a significant saving on the price of the car along with a donation being made in my father's name to the Police Benevolance Fund. Michael walked away to collect some paperwork and Ray Costa, sales manager, came over to talk with my father and I, and thank my dad for his service. He then informed us that if we came back within 24 hours to make a deposit on a car, he would tag the 2013 RAV4 (Magnetic Gray with Gray interior) when it arrived on the truck at the dealership. My father and I went back the next day to put down a deposit on the car! Michael called me when the car arrived and I went back to the dealer to see it in person! It was everything I had hoped it would be and more! We finished all of the paperwork that day and we were then sent back to Greg Paros in finance. I was very nervous about meeting with Greg because the last time I purchased a car, the finance manager was extremely business like and intimidating! Greg was the complete opposite! He was professional, but friendly and full of personality the entire time we sat with him. He left me with a very positive feeling when I walked out of the finance office. My father was taking my current car back to Florida with him and needed time to get the car registered with tags to be able to make the drive from PA to FL. Team Toyota Scion was gracious enough to hold my new car at the dealer for an extra week to give my dad time to return to FL and then back to PA. I picked up my new Rav4 today and Michael spent an hour with me showing and explaining all of the features in the car before I drove it off the lot. He also assured me that if I have any questions, to not hesitate to call him! I am so very pleased with my choice to purchase from Team Toyota Scion and look forward to my experience with them over the next several years! I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a place that is not only looking to represent the brand of car they sell but also has your interest as priority too! More
In this era of on-line rating of consumer satisfaction, I normally refrain from the practice of rating a sales experience. However, my recent purchase experience of a Certified Used Toyota Matrix at Team Toy normally refrain from the practice of rating a sales experience. However, my recent purchase experience of a Certified Used Toyota Matrix at Team Toyota was exceptional and deserves comment. I have been purchasing new and pre-owned vehicles in the tri-state area for the past thirty years. This purchase, though modest compared others, was nonetheless, the finest experience I've had over all other purchases throughout years past. This purchase and satisfaction was due to primarily to the Team Toyota Sales Consultant, Victor Pides. I would be remiss if i did not say: Mr. Pides exemplifies salesmanship of the highest order. He maintains a dedicated focus towards purchaser satisfaction; that is, a specific focus and attention to the purchaser's desires, requirements, price, and terms of a quality vehicle, at a fair price. Moreover at Team Toyota, Mr. Pides is complemented by a supporting management staff, who follow through on Victor's rapport with the purchaser, and ensure the goal of complete satisfaction of the vehicle purchaser is maintained. I certainly recommend this dealership to other consumers. I look forward to dealing with Mr. Pides and his managing staff this coming August 2013, upon closure of a previously leased Toyota vehicle from a more local Toyota Dealership. A dealership, though, just a few miles from my home, is one that focuses on their inventory, rather than the desires of the purchaser as demonstrated to me by the staff at Team Toyota. My satisfaction of this purchase including the over all experience by the professionalism exemplified by Team Toyota's staff, again in particular to Victor Pides, negates any interest of mine towards other Toyota Dealers, including a local one, just a couple miles from my home. It's only been 6 hours since I took ownership of a 2013 Sienna XLE AWD. I rarely write reviews but this is one occasion where I feel I must write a glowing review about Team Toyota. We’ve all been 2013 Sienna XLE AWD. I rarely write reviews but this is one occasion where I feel I must write a glowing review about Team Toyota. We’ve all been there the hard sale, the pushy salesman, and the sleazy finance guy. You will not find any of that at Team Toyota. NONE. I first e-mailed David asking if he had a Sienna XLE AWD with two specific options (Nav and BSM). He e-mailed me back and sent a description of a car. I called back and asked if it was physically on the lot. David said he went out himself and physically touched the car to verify that the car does exist. (Other Toyota dealers that I talked to on the phone would lie and say it was “in-stock” but when I got there it was not and tried to bait and switch). We spoke for another 10 minutes and agreed on a price that I will dare say: AWESOME. None of the dealers in the NJ/NY area could match it. Did I mention that I live in North Jersey? I didn’t want to travel down with my 2 kids (5 yrs old and 3 yrs old) + a wife that’s 5 months pregnant. So I decided to take a train down to Trenton and find a way of getting to the dealership from Trenton. I called David and asked for any suggestions. David said, “I’ll pick you up from the train station.” I said, “What?” I think I asked him five more times because I could not believe my ears. As the day approached for delivery, David texted me pics of the car and kept an open dialogue to make sure everything was ready on the day of delivery. Delivery day, as promised, I walked out of the Trenton train station, David was there to greet me. He drove me to the dealership and showed me around. I wish I lived closer because the facilities are phenomenal. Lexus-like state of the art facilities from the service area to the showroom floor. David took me over to my car and went over all the different features and at the end we took a spin around town. Next stop, Craig in finance. Craig went over the different options (Toyota extended warranty, protection package, etc.) We did discuss the different options and crunched some numbers but in the end I decided to decline. But thru out the whole process there was no hard sale or scare tactics to force me to sign-up. Craig was great to deal with and was very knowledgeable of all the products. I would recommend Craig to anyone. After signing all the paperwork, I was on my way back to North Jersey with a brand new car and a dealership that I will recommend to all my friends and family. More
After deciding to get a car, my decision to go to Team Toyota was easy as both my wife and i have purchased cars there before. Additionally, recently my daughter had car trouble near your dealership (she Toyota was easy as both my wife and i have purchased cars there before. About the buying experience, Rich was professional, honest and available for my questions. The whole experience was a positive. In the league of new and preowned auto sales, this team should be considered a dynasty. I recently purchased my second preowned vehicle from this dealership, and the level of customer service and the atten should be considered a dynasty. I recently purchased my second preowned vehicle from this dealership, and the level of customer service and the attention to detail provided to me exceeded my expectations. My first business experience with this establishment, brought me back to them the second time, and it goes without saying that my recent experience with Team Toyota has made me their customer for life. I had the pleasure of dealing with James Donahue, Tim Winter and Dennis DeWitt and it was an honor doing business with these 3 gentlemen. I felt like a part of their family from the moment I walked in the door, until the moment I drove away in my new used car. I was highly impressed by Mr. Donahue’s knowledge in not only Toyota products, but non Toyota products such as the vehicle I purchased. Mr. Donahue exuberated class and professionalism throughout the entire sales process. I found Mr. Winter to be quite a pleasant person to deal with also and respected his honesty. Mr. DeWitt made the finance portion of the deal quite easy to comprehend and dare I say fun :-) I would like to sincerely thank Team Toyota and a special thank you to the 3 gentlemen aforementioned for making my vehicle purchase experience a positively memorable one. I will be back. If you are still undecided upon giving Team Toyota a try, then by all means do not take my word for it and disregard this review. I have to say this was the best experience I have ever had at a car dealership. Actually, probably one of the best retail experiences I have had anywhere in a long time! The customer service and relaxed atmosphere were excellent. From the moment we arrived we ran into Sales consultant Tom Kelly in the lot. We explained exactly what we were looking for and he quickly sent us in the right direction. When we couldn't find the car we wanted on the lot, he jumped right on the internet to try and locate it and he found it in the service center being cleaned. The experience, was great. Like I said, it was a very relaxed atmosphere. We never once felt rushed or pushed into buying anything. Tom is a great guy. We found him to be very easy to talk with, friendly, honest, knowledgeable, helpful. Just a genuinely good guy who truly seemed to have the customers best interest in mind. They were great with financing options and helping to get you a great deal on a car that best suited you. At least twice while my husband and I were mulling over the financing and things, Tom said think it over, talk about it,sleep on it, make sure it is the right decision for you. The right decision for us. Ultimately , that is why you are they but it is nice to know there is someone trying to help you get there. We did a lot of shopping prior to this day while searching for a car and everyone wanted some kind of committment before you left and called 5 times before you even made it home but not at Team Toyota, again I really feel as though they truly put their customers first. So needless to say we wound up purchasing that car and got it at a really,really great price! We also spoke with some other great guys during this whole experience, Lou Frangipanni, Bill Sullivan and Greg Paros in financing. Very f riendly, great customer service. Again, overall great experience and we will definitely be returning when we need another car as well as recommend to friends and family. More

He clearly explained all the leasing and purchasing options to me for my new Corolla. He programmed my phone to the car's Bluetooth system. He even washed my license plate himself (it's a special organization plate and was really dirty; I mentioned that I felt bad putting such a dirty plate on a brand new car). I felt like I was being welcomed into a family, not just leasing a new car. Thank you, Team Toyota! More
Yesterday we walked into the showroom as our first stop of the day looking for a car. It ended with it being our only stop and I drove away in a 2012 Toyota Yaris. We were approached by James Albanese a few minutes after we walked through the showroom. He is a friendly, knowledgable salesman. We explained what we were looking for and answered all of our questions. He was not pushy and listened to our needs. When I explained that this was our first stop, he asked what it would take for us to end up with a car? I replied, "Meet our number that works for us and there would be a deal" He and the team did exactly that!
