I called into service this morning and I spoke with Sophal, regarding on our 2020 Ford Explorer. His attitude was beyond disappointing and almost disrespectful! I have bought over 15 cars from Ted Brit Sophal, regarding on our 2020 Ford Explorer. His attitude was beyond disappointing and almost disrespectful! I have bought over 15 cars from Ted Britt and Herman Pareja. I have never had an issue with the sales experience which has always brought me back. But service needs to be improved. The I don't care attitude, and I have lots of other customers like you does not cut it. More

I dropped off my 2014 Ford Edge on November 10, 2020 for service. What I did not count on when I dropped my car that morning was to be berated and stripped of my dignity. When I called to schedule my appointment, I could not recall the name of the package that I had bought that protects the exterior paint and the interior leather seats. The scheduler said she will look it up and include as part of the service request. Apparently, what she entered was not the actual name of the package and I was berated by the Service Manager as a result. He further berated me because I forgot my credit card, which was needed to use the loaner car. The only saving grace was that the Customer Service Rep was willing to work with me and used my credit card that was on file. Around 4:00 PM I still had not received a call on the status of my car. When I called, I was told that my car was ready, and the protective finish (ResistAll) had been applied to both the interior and exterior of my car. When I picked up my car, I realized that this was not the case – the protective finish was not applied and only my regularly schedule service was performed. They told me they could work on it while I wait. This was not an option because I had to pick up my daughter from daycare. I was not happy about having to make multiple trips. I have been servicing my car here since I purchased my car with not issue. And I have never had an issue. But I should note that this was the first time I had any dealing with this Service Manager (I do not know his name). This incident has bothered me. That is why I decided to write a review so that there is corrective action on your part, so no one else has the same unpleasant experience. Additionally, also make sure that the schedulers inform your customers what they will need to bring with them when reserving the loaner car. More
I recently brought my truck in for a pretty major warranty repair for which there is a known problem. Michael worked on getting it done within a week, but failed to address a second problem of a dri warranty repair for which there is a known problem. Not true since the vibration just started but I drove away anyway and the vibration is now a real problem. Unfortunately, the original major issue returned. As all of the emails I get from Ted Britt ask, I made an appointment online and outlined the issues. Upon arriving, I get Michael again. Right out of the gate he just has a miserable disposition. After I described the issues, and watching his irritation grow, he said they wouldn't "even look at it" for two weeks to which I asked why would I make an appointment if you can't get to it for two weeks. This is where the lecture about how I should have called him to find out his workload before coming in began, how he his "engine guy" has a backlog, and everything delivered in a condescending tone. No apologies for a delay, no "I understand that's frustrating", just a smug miserable lecture from a service advisor. The way he spoke to me was ridiculous, completely lacks interpersonal skills. Regardless, when I asked what I would do without a car for two weeks, he shrugs and says "I dunno." Email to the service manager went unanswered. The reviews for this dealership say it all 2/5 stars? That's being generous. My money will be going to other dealerships. More

Brought in Certified Pre Owned vehicle which is only 7 months old and I was told even before handing keys over to the advisor that my vehicle could have had frontal impact which is why adaptive cruise control is malfunctioning and sure did after 2 hours they called me back with same false claim and gave me $2500 estimate. When I refused to go with repairs, charged me $143 for diagnosis and $3 for data storage fee. I paid and took my vehicle to another Ford Dealership in the area couple days later and they rightfully diagnosed the adaptive cruise control issue and found no damage to vehicle (documented). Everything in the car is in mint condition, no frontal impact ever. Second FORD dealership (non- Ted Britt chain) fixed the problem under warranty with no charge to me. Then took the vehicle to third dealership and they also concluded that my car has no frontal impact ever. Ted Britt Chantilly is scamming American people during COVID Crisis to fend off warranty work and charge them unnecessary fees. Very disappointed with Ted Britt Chantilly, shame on you as in these difficult times when our country needs to be coming together, you are scamming and looting poor American people. I have always been FORD fan and have 3 other cars with them. But now I am beginning to reconsider my choice due to poor dealership service. I asked if she could reach out personally to the finance department but she told me she didn't have those capabilities. I expressed my frustrations on my end because I am trying to spend money with their dealer but I felt that the customer service was lacking. Online presence is strongly lacking. My back brakes were metal to metal after only Two thousand miles after one month of having the works performed . The Adviser Micheal Harper did not go over any findings.After complaining they told me they were doing nothing for me and if I wanted to have it towed they could look at it five days or more because they were not doing me any special favors.The service manager basically called me a liar. I email and phoned Gardner Britt III I got no response him. All I can say is thanks for treating me like a piece of crap and not giving a crap!!!! More
