This is NOT one of those reviews. Thomas Ramey is the first service advisor I have ever not dreaded visiting, which is saying a lot! Among other qualities, he is honest, professional, and friendly. A rare trifecta of that is very unusual for someone in such a stressful and demanding profession to possess. Almost a year ago I moved about an hour away from Chantilly and I still bring my car to Thomas for whatever it needs. In a nutshell, Thomas is your guy for good service at Ted Britt in Chantilly. I arrived the morning of my appointment, was greeted immediately with a smile, a friendly approach, and they had my car back in the shop almost immediately. What I expected to be a very long wait ended up being less than an hour, it came out looking as good as new, and the entire experience was very pleasant. The only issue was the part was more than I was quoted, but, the install price ended up being less, so it was nearly a wash. I was so pleased with this visit, one of the best, easiest service visits I have ever had, and I would recommend Ted Britt Ford Lincoln in Chantilly to anyone. The entire staff was helpful, friendly, and it was a very good experience (not counting the stupidity of me killing the mirror to start with...). More

Total lack of interest to help and unfriendly people. A deflector from under my car fell. I thought it would be something easy and fast to replace. When I got there, it took me a long time to convince them that my car had that. When they finally did and before even looking, one of the managers (I think that by looking at the picture was Jennifer Wainwright) told me that she was almost positive that the warranty doesn't cover that (my car has 9 months) She was kind of rude during the whole process and always very negative and defensive. When they saw my car, she called me to the mechanics area and told me that the warranty cannot cover it, because I must have bumped into something because there was damage under my car. I couldn't believe it, because I haven't bumped into anything and I'm extremely careful with my car. What she showed me was some scratches under the car probably to normal use due to small pieces of stone from the road or gravel. I agreed to pay for the part. It was a Tuesday and they said it would be there in a couple of days. Thomas Ramey was my service advisor. It was Tuesday of next week and no news from them... I called and they couldn't even find my order. When finally they did, they said my part should get there on Friday. After that, no calls again. Actually I couldn't even talk to this person. I called a few times, left messages and he never called me back. I even talked to somebody using the chat system that they have on the web and they said that they would call me back. They never did. Like a week later, I went to the dealership in person wondering if they still plan to get that for me or I should go to a different dealership. Then, oh surprise, the part was there and they gave me an appointment for the following week. No apologies at all... When I finally got there, and they brought the car fixed, I checked and I noticed the deflector was totally loose. I called Thomas Ramey, the most total uninterested person I've dealt with, he looked at that and just said: "The keys?" Again, no apology or anything. I kept waiting outside and after a while I saw he came back to his desk. He didn't even care to talk to me about the problem. Before picking up the car, when I was going to pay, I noticed about a service advisor called Vicki Surface-Rytter, who seemed to be polite and helpful with the customers. I asked her for a card, in case I need to come back there. While I was there waiting outside for the car the second time, without a word from Thomas, she saw me there and asked me if everything was ok. I told her and she decided to check personally with the mechanics. She was really nice. While she went there, one of the mechanics brought my car back. I thanked her before leaving. That was my experience. Just hoping I don't have a more serious problem with my car again... I owned a Volkswagen for more than 10 years and never had anything similar to this. At least, they cared. More
