It took three days to finally isolate the cause, but Gary never shrugged his shoulders and moved on; he contacted factory folks and stayed with it until the correct solution was identified and implemented. Also called us each afternoon to update the status - we never had to try and find him to learn what was going on. This Flex replaces our 2009 Flex which we purchased from a competing area dealer. We always have our cars serviced where we purchase them, and we're extremely happy that we chose Ted Britt for this purchase and garnered Gary Funk's expertise and determination in the process. More

Gary Funk , a One in a Million Employee I have encountered frustration in the few times I have needed to contact Ted Britt Fairfax. Using your automated phone system has been frustrating t I have encountered frustration in the few times I have needed to contact Ted Britt Fairfax. Using your automated phone system has been frustrating to say the least, whether I have needed to be connected to Service to schedule service/recall notification, or checking to see if an ordered trailer hitch is in stock before driving to get it. Another time, I just needed to find out which IPod to purchase that would connect with the InSync system.....all models are not able to! For such few issues over the past two years I have had the car, it has been a convoluted system and overly difficult. I have never experienced this before at other dealerships. That being said, I do love my 2012 Ford Edge and as long as I have Gary Funk to handle my car's needs, I will continue to be loyal to your dealership. He is extraordinarily professional, pleasant, and knowledgeable. He gave me his direct phone line, so now the 1-800 system will be by-passed. Perhaps he could give lessons in efficiency to the front desk! Ted Britt Fairfax is very lucky to have an employee of this calibre! More

It was nothing but hassles in not only the buying process, but also the service process across the street at the Honda dealer. That's why I sold my Pilot and went running back to Ford. I had an Explorer for 15 years and it was great. I wanted another one, but over that period of time the new Explorers wouldn't fit in my garage. So I bought the Pilot. It had problems from the start with the stupid "green" engine that switched from 4 to 6 cylinders for 'saving gas'. dumb. Anyway, when I took it for service I had to wait a while just to drop it off. Go to a horrible place down the road for an Enterprise Rent-a-car that I had to pay for... and on and on. After I sold the horrible Pilot, I went running back to Ford and bought the Edge. Love it. No problems and when I have had to take it in (I broke off the side mirror accidentally and for the scheduled service - - no fault of the vehicle) I was in and out with a free loaner. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeasy. More

He was professional, courteous and highly attentive to the details of my vehicle, He noticed that my inspection was about to expire (I hadn't noticed it) which saved me the time and trouble of having to come back. The service was quick and I received a $10 rebate on my service which I didn't expect. We have a 6-year history of dealing with Ted Britt Ford in Fairfax and we love coming back. More
