Ted Britt Ford - Service Center

Horrible Experience! After my wife picked up her vehicle for service and on her way home with our children, she discovered the hood was not properly latched while travelin After my wife picked up her vehicle for service and on her way home with our children, she discovered the hood was not properly latched while traveling on I-66. She had to pull over on a busy freeway, get out of the vehicle while endangering herself to secure the hood. This is something the service department should have ensured was done prior to her departure. Unfortunately, she was not able to secure the hood and had to return to the dealership. The service manager was able to secure the hood, but after telling her she was never in danger because the hood was latched in place by the secondary latch even though the primary was not engaged. According to the service manager, these things do not fail and he tried to downplay the situation. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed in how he handled the situation. There was obviously an issue with there quality control procedures to the point where people's lives are in danger. I do not recommend this service department as they are extremely unprofessional and have no regard for customer satisfaction. I fear no one will be held accountable for this potentially fatal mistake and the fact the service manager acted like it was not a big deal. I would like to know how he would have felt if his family was in a similar situation. Additionally, after my wife left the dealership for the second time, I called the service manager and questioned him about the situation. He told me, "things like this happen." I find this extremely disappointing. We are entrusting Ted Britt with the service of our vehicle with the expectation it will be returned in the best possible condition and in the safest manner to operate. Clearly, they do not have the same expectations and mediocrity is their standard. I cannot say enough how Ted Britt's Fairfax service department is one of the worst customer oriented places and I do not recommend this location! More

Holy Britt! Prior to coming to the Britt Ford location in Fairfax, I went to a competitor Ford Dealer who's owner is named Krystal. After seeing Krystal's bill a Prior to coming to the Britt Ford location in Fairfax, I went to a competitor Ford Dealer who's owner is named Krystal. After seeing Krystal's bill and unnecessary amount of work I pulled the job from her and went to Ted Britt. For the main repair, Ted Britt was half the price of what Krystal was charging and there was no unnecessary work added to my car at Britt Ford. Overall, my repairs came in at 1/3 the price I was quoted at their competitor due to the fact that Ted Britt didn't tack on additional charges/work. The auto tech Brian did quality work, their service was great, and I'm happy with the price and work done. I'll very much enjoy doing business with Ted Britt again. More

Top-Notch Service I switched back to Ford after having VWs for a number of years. Since coming back, I have been very pleased with the service at Ted Britt, and with my I switched back to Ford after having VWs for a number of years. Since coming back, I have been very pleased with the service at Ted Britt, and with my 2014 Explorer Limited. I get a loaner whenever I bring my car in, and they get the service done right and done fast. My only comment - washing the car should be part of the service. I paid a lot for my warranty and service plan; a free car wash should be done every time it is in without me asking. More
