Shane lied to me saying he would give me a trade in valuation and peice after rebates on new vehicle, but only if I showed up in person. I brought my trade in and disclosed everything about it to Shane and gave him my Title and keys. He went out to my car to review it while I looked at a few pathfinders on his lot. Just to make sure I knew which color and trim I wanted. After about 30 minutes looking at their rock creek model I asked for my numbers on trade value and cost of the new pathfinder. Shane Anderson told me that unless I gave a deposit right then, he wouldn't give me any numbers. That should have been a red flag....high pressure sales pitch! But they assured me that they would beat any deal I could get elsewhere. Being unwilling to just give a blind deposit while not knowing how much I'm going to pay on deal, I went to another dealer and had my trade valued and a price on new vehicle...all disclosed when I asked. Since Shane said he would beat any deal, I gave the dealership a second chance, I told them the numbers given by other dealer. I was told over the phone that, of course they would beat the other deal, come in right now and we will get it done.....so I drove back into dealership. When I got there I was shown a blank piece of paper with some notes in sharpie and a deal number scribbled over that. No invoice, no official paperwork, no deal sheet. Unprofessional! Then Shane started to tear down my trade value by telling me things about my trade that we had already discussed and he evaluated on my first visit with trade in. Then he said he couldn't beat my other deal. I had to walk out without saying all the words out loud that were running through my mind. If you look at reviews you will notice many other reviews showing dishonesty and unprofessional behavior. I advise buying somewhere else. I ended up going to another dealer who valued my trade well and gave me an easy transaction and a great deal. More
