I was inquiring about the outer shell for my 1999 GS 300 ignition key. I provided the VIN # as requested. The associate concluded that the part is no longer available. That was NOT true. She didn't make the ignition key. I provided the VIN # as requested. The associate concluded that the part is no longer available. That was NOT true. She didn't make the effort to search further after I gave her nine of the ten-digit part number. Minutes later, I found the part at Lexus Escondido. In my prior experience with Lexus Temecula parts department they gave me the wrong rotors for my car. Based on my experience, I believe Lexus Temecula parts department has some totally incompetent folks at the counter. Moreover, in both cases I was told the supervisor and the manager are not available "They leave at 3:30pm." 😉 I suggest going to Lexus Escondido or Riverside. There, folks know their stuff! More
