I tried to work with this dealership, but they are stuck in doing it "their way." I highly recommend that the dealership remove any online options for buying a vehicle and only work with people who are wil in doing it "their way." I received a call from Eliena with online sales. Very pushy that they sell a certain way, and not customer centric. After a 10 minutes banter of how its done, I provided information requested and did not receive a call back I even called her back the next day and still no service provided. More
I had work done on my Jeep charokee and Eddy was very friendly. They finished on schedule and all went well. My only complaint is that it would have been nice if the mechanic would have cleaned the ins friendly. They finished on schedule and all went well. I have the displeasure of working with Jeff G, in the service department. I explain to him I had my car previously worked on at the dealership in Scottsdale, he rolled his eyes as if I couldn’t afford th service department. He was extremely doubtful when I told him I had invoices of the work I had done in March less than a few months later having the same issues with my vehicle. As if it was too expensive for my type of people. He was extremely rude as well as the young blonde who deny the phone call we had when I had asked if it would still be covered at this dealership and she told me yes and come on in. Extremely horrible service, I did not get any kind of assistance transferring vehicles on a rental car, they couldn’t have been more occupied on their phones. Bought a Van on 6/15/20 from Tempe Dodge. My wife and I knew we were getting a good deal on a used Chrysler Pacifica. The Sales person is named Emily and she could tell that I was a no nonsense person, so knew we were getting a good deal on a used Chrysler Pacifica. The Sales person is named Emily and she could tell that I was a no nonsense person, so we moved quickly and I appreciated that. I got to see the Van and it was dirty and I was OK with that because I knew it was going to be detailed. Found out that it was owned by the owner’s daughters. I saw the car fax and it was maintained on time, every time. We did not test drive because of it being dirty, but seeing all the information that Emily showed us, I felt good about buying. Once we got back to financing, we talk to a man named Joe. Seemed nice at first. Then he became very pushy about the extended warranty. I told him no 9 times. Yes I counted. I was about ready to walk because I don’t think he understood the phrase “no means no”. Once the financing was over, and Joe stopped talking about extend warranty, we waited for the van to come around. I did a quick inspection and noticed that the back lift gate would not open. They took the Van to the back and stated that all the mechanics were at lunch at 10:30am. I have a hard time believing that everyone was at lunch and no one could take a look at it. So I drove it home mad that I will have to bring it back for repairs that should have already been done. Get it home and noticed that there was raisins, meat sticks and welchers fruit snacks on the floor. They did not vacuum or detailed it at all. I mean how could they if they can’t open the back. Because my wife and I are mechanically incline, we were able to fix the lift gate in less than 5 minutes. That means if a mechanic looked at it, it could have been done in less time. Then we spent 30 minutes vacuuming up the mess that was left. I get that the owners daughter has kids and so do I. I know that kids makes messes all the time, but the dealership should have at least vacuumed it first. Talked to the sales manager Ryan about the issues. He seems to understand but I have a feeling that he is going to use the “if I ignore them, they will go away” tactic. Because my daughter has EOE and new issues came up medically, I don’t have time to fight with the dealership to make things right. So in some ways they got the sale but I hope that Emily finds a new place to sell cars because out of all of our experience, she was the only person that seems to care and tried to do something. All in all, don’t buy a used car from Tempe Chrysler Jeep Dodge. It is too much of a headache and not worth the harassment. More
