I just bought a Kia Soul from this dealership (Tempe Kia) and it was a wonderful expereince. I worked with Andrew Harper and he was very informative and patient throughtout the buying process. He even bought me a Diet Coke while I was waiting. That in itself is worth five stars in my book, ha. I wanted a red one and they did not have one in my price range on the lot, but found one from another dealer and went and got it for me. The finance part of it was very painless and low stress. This usually causes great anxiety, but not at this dealership it all went smoothly. I strongly recommend this dealership and sales associate, Andrew Harper! More
Miserable experience!!! I worked out a deal to purchase a new auto with this dealer. They were short staffed and I began the process with a sales manager. After a test drive, I was handed off to a new salesman who had not worked in auto sales very long. He was slow, but managed to work out a deal for a reasonable price. I was not sure if I wanted to finance part of the deal or pay cash, and told them due to the pending purchase of a home I did not want them to run my credit until I had made my decision. I would not be making my decision until I had the opportunity to speak with the finance department. I brought a copy of my credit report, credit score and needed to make sure they only ran my credit once. They worked up the deal for pending finance, which I knew might change if I decided to pay cash. They told me I needed to sign permission to run the credit report. I balked and again told them my concerns. I was told that the deal could not move forward to the finance paperwork without all of the paperwork signed, but was assured by the salesman and the sales manager that they would not run my credit without my knowledge. On three occasions I explained the reason for not wanting my credit run, and was assured that they would make sure I was taken care of. I was taken to the finance department and left to sit in the waiting area for over 20 minutes. During that time they shopped my credit, getting two denials and two approvals which my home lender told me not to allow them to do. I was incredibly frustrated and the entire staff went into defensive mode. I was told that it was my fault and that they would do nothing to correct the situation. They acted as if I was overreacting, and that every dealer works this way. They offered $500 off to continue the deal. No offer to revoke the credit checks, which would take time on their part. I spoke with my lender who advised me that the dealer could remove the credit by deleting the inquiries using e-Oscar. I called the dealer and asked for a letter stating they ran my credit in error on their letterhead so that I could show my lender, and the 3 credit reporting bureaus. I was told they would not. Needless to say, I am currently working with the credit reporting agency to remove the erroneous credit checks. I walked away from the deal and am a happy owner of a Kia purchased from a different dealer. In my opinion they were unprofessional, inexperienced, and the management was down right rude. More

We went to another dealership before and the feeling and the whole experience is night and day difference. We actually had fun. They were so excited for us and James Duet even stayed to meet us before he left. We were referred by the CarProShow and it was a great experience. We will definitely tell all our friends and family. I will even tell strangers in the grocery store about our experience. You can't go wrong by going there. Bobby was very friendly and you could see the excitement from him as we were preparing for our new adventure. The facility is clean and very nice. The bathrooms were great and you felt like you were in a fancy resort. They were exactly what they said they were for the price in person and over the phone. I could go on all day, but in the interest of your time, I won't. I recommend everyone go there and see for themselves. James was very friendly and professional, but you could feel his honesty, I know that isn't common in a dealership...but it is true!!! Bobby handled the signing and was great. He was very kind and professional and hospitable. Michelle got our family at the end, for financing. She is wonderful too. Our kids were all past bedtime and extremely tired. She was so patient and understanding. Bobby got my Bluetooth all set up and showed me all key features. He even took a family picture for us. Price was a bit higher than I would have liked (who doesn't say that!?), but I got a great car that I love. Chris was fantastic - knowledgeable and friendly and willing to go that extra mile to help me. Chris' manager (working Sunday 6/30/13 -sorry I forgot your name - I have a terrible memory!) was also great and helped me with the various purchase/financing options. Michelle in finance was extremely professional and also friendly and efficient. The paperwork was completed in a surprisingly short amount of time. All in all I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tempe Kia to anyone. More

My name is Collin Barrett. Being 21 years old finally being able to buy my first car, I've always had a fear of the reputation of the infamous "car salesman". However, instantly when Barry came to assist being able to buy my first car, I've always had a fear of the reputation of the infamous "car salesman". However, instantly when Barry came to assist me and my mother about considering new cars, that view was changed tenfold. Barry was the exact opposite of what high pressured sales was all about and have me a whole new outlook on car salesman. He walked up a car salesman, and instantly changed that, by the end of the sale, I considered him a friend. His personable and empathetic outlook on my views definitely made my experience outstanding. He was very thorough, patient and tolerable of my very vague puns and vibed with it. He even chimed in with his own. All in all, Barry was the perfect employee to work with and get me started with my brand new 2013 Kia optima. I'm enjoying it to the fullest thanks to his very precise information and effort he put into working with me and my mother. Thanks Barry and continue to flourish with success! More
Essentially, I purchased two vehicles at once in this deal, which was the goal from the start. I had been to another Kia dealership where I was left with no 'breathing" room to just walk around at my deal, which was the goal from the start. I had been to another Kia dealership where I was left with no 'breathing" room to just walk around at my leisure to look over the different models and styles. In addition to that, I was heavily pressured to purchase a SUV that I didn't even LIKE. NOT SO at Tempe Kia. We were allowed enough time to snoop around a bit on our own. Our sales representative, Barry Vogel, then answered questions and took his time so we could decide which cars to test drive. He wasn't at all "pushy" (the part we all hate about car dealerships, right?) and he was very helped in giving us all the information he could so we could make the right decision for what we wanted. He actually made the process a FUN one! We're delighted with our Optima's and also delighted with our experience at Tempe Kia. Thank you, Barry! :) More
Brand new optima and at 22, 000 miles already have an oil leak and my engine started shaking. Took it in they said I'm wrong and they fixes whatever they could, however at now 30, 000 miles my engine shaking leak and my engine started shaking. They don't give you a rental car and have fun staying in there horrible waiting room!! More
