Walking away for $.50 a day? Stopped at the dealership on our way to another dealership to check out the inventory. Found a Truck we really liked so we tried to make a deal. It was a great experience until the final numbers came back $14.00 over our stated monthly budget. When we let them know our budget was a hard number we received two responses. First response. “Are you really going to walk away from this truck for $0.50 a day?” Answer was “yes, it’s out of our budget”. Second response was “ maybe you should be looking at older trucks with more miles”. That’s when we thanked them for their time and let them know we were heading to the dealership we initially set out for. They called us back later that day to see how the visit went at the other dealership. We let them know we were driving home in our new vehicle which was a year newer and had less miles than the one we ran the numbers on. It was a great experience until the deal looked like it wasn’t going to happen. We have no hard feelings. Only writing the review at the request of the salesman who worked with us during our visit.
