Jim in service is a pleasure to deal with, very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain what repairs are needed now and what repairs or service can wait until your next visit. I know my 2006 Magnum SRT8 is in great hands at Teterboro Jeep Service. I have also had great car buying experiences at Teterboro. I deal with Alan Jr during the purchases of my 2003 PT cruiser and a 1989 Plymouth Sundance. He was very helpful and even made periodic calls to see how I was enjoying the cars I had purchased and if there were any issues or concerns with them. Needless to say I recommend Teterboro Jeep to my family and friends for either purchasing a new car or service for their present car. More

Worst service ever! I called to make an appnt for an oil change and tire rotation. They gave me an appnt for a week later. I showed up at the appointed time and right whe I called to make an appnt for an oil change and tire rotation. They gave me an appnt for a week later. I showed up at the appointed time and right when I pulled in-they motioned me to move into the service bay. A manager came over and told me to wait and someone would be with me shortly. Didn't ask my name -what I was here for- or if I had an appnt. NOTHING!! 3 minutes later another person comes And says someone will be with my soon. Still no info or questions. After about 15 min and 3 more people informing me that someone would be with me soon, the original manger who came by the first time asked me what I was there for. I said I have an appnt for an oil change and tire rotation. He asks me what kind of oil I use. I inform him that I have no clue-but all my details about my car were taken when I made the appnt. He says he will check and be right back. Instead-he sits at a desk through the glass window (clearly visible) he starts snackif and chatting and looking at something on comp. I wait another 10 min before a completely diff person shows up and says ok oil change time. And asks me what kind of oil I use? I informed her that I had no clue but that guy (I pointed) was checking for like 10 min. She's says it's her manger and she'll ask him what's going on. I tell her that I made this appnt a week ago. By this time I had been waiting ina service bay for 30 min ( past my appnt time) not one person asked if I had appnt or any other info. I can hear the manger yelling at this lady 'I don't know-it's eddies job' What? So he said he would look something up and then never did it or it seemed like he never intended to. The lady then came back and told me it would be over an hour for the oil change to take place -no mention of the tire rotation. At this point after being there for 35 min and being told I would have to wait over an hour-I left. The place is in chaos. I must of seen about 30 people working there who just were chatting and eating and standing around. The manger being the worst. Have some pride in your dealership and run it like a business. Suffice to say-I took my business elsewhere Don't ever go there!!!!! More
Good by local standards Most of the mechanics have 20+ years of experience at the same dealership. They are good at fixing things the first time, if they can reproduce the problem. They have been honest when they could have cheated me, e.g. with a transmission code that ended up being a cheap sensor. They try to stretch the warranty with FCA. They can handle technically difficult tasks and have yet to break my car (cough Paramus Chrysler cough) or hand it back with obvious defects (see prior Paramus cough). Service manager does what he can and is approachable. Mechanics are generally friendly and obviously knowledgeable. They understand that sometimes you get sporadic issues that may not show during a test drive. Downside: no appointments, loaners are a hassle, drive-home is ad hoc, waiting room is terrible, can't shut off the TV, often can't reach service advisors on the phone, no Saturday hours, very limited late hours, sometimes gets overwhelmed. Work can cause rattles (a common problem it seems) which require more trips. Not a great location. Extremely limited parking. Hard to get in and out of the lot. “Pay and get keys” people are fairly unresponsive. Generally, sales/service processes seem dated and inefficient. More
So rude I didnt even get to make an appointment Wow, tried to call their service department and was left on hold. When the operator picked up and said its still busy I asked to leave a phone number Wow, tried to call their service department and was left on hold. When the operator picked up and said its still busy I asked to leave a phone number so they could call me back. She said they don't do that and the only person there is busy with the phone, works the drive up and deals with customers. I said I'll try another dealer and she just hung up on me. Laugh-they lost a customer without me even going there. If they are that ignorant and understaffed to begin with why bother giving them my brand new jeep to work on More
Horrible Had leased a jeep from a dealer, when the lease was up, we decided to go with a different make. The new dealer payed off the lease and advised us that Had leased a jeep from a dealer, when the lease was up, we decided to go with a different make. The new dealer payed off the lease and advised us that we to return the vehicle to jeep. We contacted Teterboro Jeep about the return they told us because we didn't/weren't getting another jeep, that we had to bring the vehicle to the original jeep dealer. We did just that. We drove the vehicle an hour back to dealer, to find out that that the vehicle could be returned to any jeep dealer and that Teterboro jeep just didn't want to deal with it. I will never buy, lease, or refer anybody to Teterboro Jeep EVER. POOR BUSINESS. More
