My name is Pete Bulban, and I am the President of Texascarsdirect.com. There are so many things that are incorrectly stated in rayrocks' review, it is difficult to know where to begin, but I will try my best: First, we always honor on-line, advertised prices. If rayrocks had purchased a motor vehicle from us on-line, at the advertised price, we would have honored it, no question about it. Second, we also sell cars over the phone. So, if a customer feels more comfortable talking to an actual person, we certainly do not want to discourage that and, in fact, we welcome phone calls (972-243-3400). Third, contrary to what rayrocks wrote, we also sell cars to customers who come to our dealership in person. We have sales people at our dealership location, who very knowledgeable and informative, and who very much want to talk to potential customers about our motor vehicle offerings. Fourth, there is nobody who works here by the name of Paul, so perhaps rayrocks has us confused with another dealership. Fifth, we do have a sales person named, Seth, who has gotten stellar reviews from virtually all customers, except for rayrocks. Yes, Seth is young-he is 29-but why does rayrocks hold that against him? Seth is very knowledgeable, very courteous, and one of our best employees. Sixth, there was no reason for rayrocks to have been belligerent and abusive to our employees when he came to our dealership. We try to treat all customers with courtesy and respect, and we treated rayrocks this way also. Of course, we do expect courtesy to be a two-way street. Unfortunately, it seems not all people today believe this. Seventh, rayrocks came to our dealership yesterday. He did not have an appointment (it is not necessary to have an appointment to come to our dealership; I merely point this out because rayrocks stated in his comments that he had an appointment when, in fact, he did not). Prior to arriving at our dealership rayrocks did not request to place a "hold" on the particular Mercedes which had caught his attention, and it so happens that minutes before rayrocks arrived yesterday (again, without us even knowing that he was coming), the Mercedes had been sold to another customer, at the on-line, advertised price. This vehicle was a very good deal for the customer who bought it, and I can't help but believe that this is just a case of "sour grapes" on the part of rayrocks. If rayrocks had acted sooner, we would have gladly sold the Mercedes to him, also at the on-line, advertised price. Unfortunately for rayrocks, he acted too late on what was a very nice car at a very favorable price, and rayrocks seemed to be upset about missing out on this particular vehicle. Lastly and more broadly speaking, Texascarsdirect.com has thousands of very satisfied, repeat customers. We could not succeed in business, as we have over the years, if we did not offer fine motor vehicles at very favorable, competitive prices.
