Extremely Dishonest and Blatantly Misleading Sales Tactics, Stay Away, Bait and Switch Pricing! 7/24/2025 I visited Texas Toyota of Grapevine on July 24, 2025, to purchase a pre-owned 2017 Lexus RX 3 Tactics, Stay Away, Bait and Switch Pricing! 7/24/2025 I visited Texas Toyota of Grapevine on July 24, 2025, to purchase a pre-owned 2017 Lexus RX 350 listed online for $20,901. From the beginning, the experience was riddled with misleading information, evasiveness, and a refusal to honor their own advertised price. I was told by the salesperson, Christian, that there would be no additional dealer add-ons. But when the price sheet was handed to me, it included $2,398 in upcharges labeled "dealer added accessories" (Zaktek packages). When I questioned it, Christian contradicted the paperwork and claimed it was a "shop bill" for routine maintenance costs that the dealership incurred in order to get the vehicle up to standard inspection and ready to sale. After I stood firm and refused to pay for any non-standard add-ons, he claimed his manager would remove $1,499 of the "shop bill" which prompted me to leave when Christian and his manager refused to removed the remaining $899.00 on the breakdown sheet for the remaining charge "dealer added accessories" Zaktek package" that Christian continued to be deceitful and claim was the remaining "shop bill" fee for maintenance. Christian texted me the following morning on 7/25/25 offering to have his manager remove the remaining $899.00, I then gave him my counter offer which he stated couldn't meet me at, which was fine, so I requested an updated breakdown sheet reflecting at minimum the $899.00 add on fees taken off to at least have a fair deal of the dealership honoring the advertised price of $20,901 and I would then only pay the standard tax, title, and license, and Christian walked back the offer to have his manager take off the $899.00 added fee stating that his manager wouldn't remove the remaining added fees. The back and forth was exhausting, and the dealership refused to honor the original sticker price, even after admitting they could remove the added fees. I left feeling deceived, disrespected, and deeply disappointed. What's worse: when I tried to speak with a manager, two separate employees either refused to give me the GM's contact information or claimed they didn't know it which was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. As a current Toyota owner of many years, I am deeply disappointed at the treatment I received and I am filing formal complaints with The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, The Texas Attorney General's Office, The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, The Federal Trade Commission, The Better Business Bureau. Shoppers beware this dealership uses deceptive pricing and dodges accountability! More
We came to Toyota of Grapevine to buy a car that my girlfriend was ready to trade in — her vehicle was fully paid off, and we were told by other dealerships that a physical title wasn’t required becaus girlfriend was ready to trade in — her vehicle was fully paid off, and we were told by other dealerships that a physical title wasn’t required because they could process it electronically. This dealership never told us otherwise. We went through the entire process: Agreed on the price, Signed the paperwork, Ran her credit, and Paid the down payment. We were even told in finance that we could take the car home that day and just bring in the title later. But as soon as we left the finance office, the salesman, Jayson, came out and told us we couldn’t take the car — that it was “against policy.” That “policy” was never once mentioned until after everything was already finalized. At that point, the damage was done. My girlfriend now has a hard inquiry on her credit and nothing to show for it. The time, effort, and trust we put into this transaction were completely wasted. They offered to cancel the deal, but that doesn’t undo the impact of what happened — nor did they offer any real apology or solution to make things right. This wasn’t just a minor misunderstanding. This was flat-out poor communication, bad customer service, and a failure to own up to their mistake. If you’re shopping here, I strongly recommend getting everything in writing and being cautious about verbal promises. We expected better from a dealership with this kind of reputation, but our experience was frustrating, misleading, and disappointing. More

Esta mañana viene al area de servicio a la 8 de la mañana para un problema que tiene mi vehículo en el techo en la parte de atrás está despegado estuvo en servicio cuatro horas y cuando vine a recogerlo el v para un problema que tiene mi vehículo en el techo en la parte de atrás está despegado estuvo en servicio cuatro horas y cuando vine a recogerlo el vehículo seguía con el mismo problema se lo volvieron a llevar y me dijeron que estaba listo la persona que me atendió me dijo que no podían hacer nada con el problema y además en el area que verificaron del techo lo dejaron sucio fui con el mánager para que viera cual era el problema y me dijo que porque estaba sucio el techo y yo le indiqué que había sido ahí cuando revisaron el techo estuve hablando con él y no me ofreció ninguna solución para arreglar el problema y ni siquiera indicó que se llevaran el vehículo para limpiar el area sucia del techo lamentablemente tienen un servicio muy pésimo en el area de servicio estoy muy molesto por la atención del mánager que no ofreció resolver el problema para mi tienen 0 en esa area porque no existe un número más bajo que ese para darle otra clasificación More
