They scheduled our Forrester and Crosstrek for noon appt's that should take about an hour (according to the scheduling woman) and we got there and it was obvious that wasn't possible so we just had the Crosstrek serviced and left the Forrester to pick up the next day since they were swamped and the scheduling had been done badly. Sam was very patient and cool and despite the bad scheduling made it a good experience. This was honestly the first issue we've ever had with purchasing or service so I'm sure now that the scheduling person is gone, that will remedy itself with someone who knows what they are doing. We've always been nothing but happy with this dealership. More

Service Managers Keep You Informed I had my VW oil changed at one of the Jiffy / Express locations. Realized that they didn't reset the service light, so I made an appointment at VW to I had my VW oil changed at one of the Jiffy / Express locations. Realized that they didn't reset the service light, so I made an appointment at VW to reset the warning light. On the way there I realized that I did not get an oil change reminder sticker for my windshield from the Express place either, so I decided to have the oil and filter changed at VW; have it done right. When I arrived I met Ronnie who greeted me with a warm welcome and was anxious to get things right. While I was there I asked about a rattle my wife heard and asked if he could have it checked out. No problem. Turns out it was probably a rear brake that needed repair. He was able to fit me in with a minimum of waiting and complete the repair. Jonathan gave me the bill, which I thought was totally reasonable considering the time and effort that the techs put in. All along the way either Ronnie or Jonathan kept me informed of the progress of the work. Could not be happier with the service I received at VW Autobarn of Countryside. Great place to take your car. More
