regular routine maintenance I appreciated the time the service department took on such short notice to service my 2017 crosstrek. i called that day for an oil change and tire rot I appreciated the time the service department took on such short notice to service my 2017 crosstrek. i called that day for an oil change and tire rotation and mentiioned only when i got there that i lost most of my channels on my xm satelite radio. When i arrived at 5:15pm, my scheduled appointment time, i mentioned my radio problem. Sam told me they could do the reset then also. I waited for my auto service to be completed, and the service manager came out and told me, that it would take another 40 miniutes because of 4 downloads needed to get it back to normal. I told him no problem, and i would wait for the work to be done. When it was completed, I noticed it was quitting time for the dealership. I have only the most gratitude for the people at the Subaru Autobarn for their professional work they provide their customers. More

Always poor service I bought my Outback from this dealer 5 years ago. I’ve had my warranty service done by my personal mechanic, due to trust issues. I have occasionally brought my car here, though, and just about everything I was told turned out not to be true. They understate waiting time, they have long waits for their “free” car washes, and generally make things difficult. They’re not friendly and I have found the attitudes in general to be on the surly and rude side. Recently, to get an important recall done, I was told I’d have to wait six weeks! To me, this dealership is disappointment upon disappointment. I like Subarus but I’ll go to Grand Subaru in Bensenville for my next new one. And, oh yes....after my last disappointing experience I left a voice mail for manager Tom Fennewald asking him to call me about my experience. I never got a call and that should tell you something. It has very small chips all over the glass on the outside.And I purchased a warranty for the exterior of the vehicle ,when I purchased my certified preowned vehicle. I did want to get the winshield replaced but the service person said the warranty would not pay for it More

I'm always met with a smile, treated friendly and courteous, even the simple cosmetic requests, like swapping out my all-weather floor mats for the carpeted ones in spring, all done with the Advisor's goal to make me feel appreciated. No one wants to pay more , or wait longer, but at least he has excellent customer service skills which makes an unpleasant experience better. He also checked my windshield wipers and suggested replacement. I had gotten used to them being terrrible, and thought that was how they should be. WHAT A DIFFERENCE my new wipers make! SO Glad he noticed and recommended getting them replaced. Thanks again for the stellar service. And by the way.. I love the dogs you allow to come to the dealership! More
