I really enjoyed working with Barbara Gawlak in obtaining a new Jetta Sportswagen TDI. Barb was quite knowledgeable about the ins and outs of the car, and allowed me to take the car home overnight to really a new Jetta Sportswagen TDI. Barb was not pushy whatsoever, but rather did everything possible to allow us to make an informed decision. It certainly didn't hurt that I absolutely love the car, and have heard very good things about the VW TDIs from everyone I know who has one. The Autobarn VW of Countryside deserves major xxxxxxfor developing some really solid salesmen & women. They offered me a very fair deal on both the new car and on my trade-in. I did extensive research ahead of time on what to expect pricewise on both the new car and the trde-in, and the offer from the Autobarn hit my projected figures almost on the dot. That says a lot about the credibility of the folks who work there. I'd also like to send out a shout out to Lee, the finance manager at the dealership. He didn't give me the hard sell on an extended warranty, which I really appreciated. Anthony was very professional and helpful however I did feel the used car manager was very unwilling to negotiate a fair price for both parties. I also had service done as part of the sale and it was n feel the used car manager was very unwilling to negotiate a fair price for both parties. I also had service done as part of the sale and it was not done correctly and had to take off work and return to get the vehicle repaired correctly as it was unsafe to drive, which they did. My only other comment is when a used car is sold it should be gone through and obvious repairs made before you let the customer drive away.
