I was told there was a recall part to do the recall repair on my F150 on the 23rd of May. On the 23rd, I make an appointment for June 5th to get the recall repaired. I bring my truck in on Thursday the 5th. There was no part, but they kept my truck for two days until the end of the day on the 5th, and nobody checked to see if the parts were available. So nobody could tell me the parts weren’t there. So I get a phone call on Thursday at the end of the day, not to tell me there was no part, but to tell me my truck wasn’t finished because the shop was backed up. Now, again, this is a continuation of work started on May 23rd, so my truck should have been at the front of the line. Then on Friday, I call at 2:30pm to ask if the recall repair is done, to be told the guys are finishing up. Now mind you, I’m still under the impression the repair is being done. Still am not told there is no part. I get a call around 5pm on Friday to finally, after two days, tell me there was no part, and that they just inspected the rear axle and bolts. Somebody screwed up. That inspection could have been done on Thursday and I could have had my truck back the day I brought it in. NOT OKAY. More
