I must say my recent purchase of the 2013 Ford Focus from Walter Smith at Frederick Motor Company was hands down the best experience I have had in purchasing a vehicle. They had the vehicle I wanted in stock and offered me the most for my trade-in. When we agreed upon the final price, Walter thoroughly reviewed the breakdown cost of the vehicle and made sure that all my questions were answered prior to signing. The entire process took less than 3 hours and I left feeling that I got best deal available. Before I left the lot Walter walked me around the dealership and introduced me to the various team members I would be working with when my vehicle is being serviced. Thank you for a great experience and I look forward to purchasing a vehicle from you in the future. More
Scott was great. My wife stopped in on a whim and gave Scott a description of what we were looking for. Scott followed through and called us when our vehicle came in. Everything Scott had said was accurate with regard to the trucks condition. We were treated with respect and patience as we made the choice of a vehicle that would meet our needs and price range. It was not easy as we arrived thinking we wanted a Forester and after the test drive choice of a vehicle that would meet our needs and price range. Walter took the time to show us other models and find a car on the lot that had the features that were important to us. He encouraged us to take a test drive in the Outback and we were sold on the vehicle. Then we started negotiating the deal. Again Walter made it clear that he would work hard to get us the deal we wanted and he did just that. By then we were very tired and not looking forward to the paperwork to close the deal. We were pleasantly surprised there also as the paperwork was quick and easy with friendly, efficient service. So we drove away that day with our new Subaru Outback and we could not be happier with Walter Smith and Frederick Motor Company. More

Janie was extremely helpful in getting the price we wanted not only for the new car we purchased but for the trade in value of the car we were getting rid of. She was thorough in explaining the car before we left the lot and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we were happy with our purchase before we left. We had been to the dealership when she was not there and the man who helped us (I wont mention him by name) seemed the least bit interested in helping in any way and even had another sales person show us the car because we were not actually going to test drive it that night - we had just stopped in to look at the color. It was so nice to then have Janie to take care of the sale. In all honesty, they would have lost the sale if it had not been for Janie's positive attitude and genuine character. I visited the Frederick Motor Company earlier today to browse for a used small SUV-type vehicle. His courtesy and personable service throughout the whole experience was refreshing and made everything completely stress-free. I would definitely buy here again given the choice, and if I ever have need to do so I will seek out Mr. Rosenfeld specifically. Another gentleman, Keith, was also quite helpful during the finance and title phases of the transaction, and was informative without putting any unnecessary pressure on me whatsoever to buy extra coverages or services. We went to Frederick Motor Company in search of a car that is suitable for recreational towing behind a motorhome. After reviewing the owner’s manuals of two manufacturers with our salesperson, Rick Kleinota, we decided one with a manual transmission best suited our needs. We wanted a number of options not usually found in dealers’ inventories, but Rick spent a considerable amount of time, even on his day off, to find a car that met our needs. During the search he kept us informed of his efforts, and when he found one, he offered us a great price. The finance department worked directly with our credit union to complete the necessary forms, saving us time and effort so that we were able to take delivery quickly. Rick gave us a thorough introduction to the operation of the car and its accessories and said that we could call him on his cell anytime with questions. He introduced us to the service manager who explained the service process. Everyone we met was enthusiastic about the cars they sell and about working for Frederick Motor Company. Since taking delivery, Rick has called to see if we have any questions or concerns. More

This was the first experience I could describe without hesitation as being nice. For the record, Andy Messer is an engaging, nice, very informed sales guy. If you're in the mood for a "test drive" or purchase, I can highly recommend him and Frederick Motors. More
