I'm become disappointed with the service department. I'm unable to speak to a service rep and my messages are not returned. I love Steve F. I live in Queens & purchased my Hatch in Babylon and consistently come back just because him and I have built a relationship and he is super knowledgeable. I was displeased not with his service but with the wait time for the recommended 15,000 mile package & a new york state inspection. I made an appt at 10am arrived at 950am & was not done until 230pm; that is absolutely ridiculous. I inquired with the receptionist as to why it was taking way longer than the 2-3 hours on the sign and she was annoyed with the fact that I was even asking that question. I then proceeded to ask several follow up questions and she became irate as if she had provided me with accurate information which she had not. Steven F then came out and explained in detail what was going on (which is quite frankly all I wanted to know) and I waited maybe an additional 30 minutes and then I was on my way. I am sorry to report that I will no longer drive 54 minutes out of my way to get my hatch serviced solely based on the fact that your receptionist is not knowledgeable, friendly or posses the basic skills for a customer service job and the fact that your wait time is entirely to long. They had a week to get all the paper work together they wanted to have this done by the end of the month but when I arrived what was done nothing absolutely nothing and when it was finally done it wasn’t I wanted to have this done by the end of the month but when I arrived what was done nothing absolutely nothing and when it was finally done it wasn’t I had a meeting that was scheduled 12:30 promised to get me out by then didn’t happen finally done at 1:00 pm only to have to return because they screwed up the paper work. Their incompetence not only was inconvenient it was very costly that missed meeting cost the company I work for a contract and me personally in excess of $20,000. One star is over rated over three hours waiting for people to to do the job that was promised to be ready to go we will get you in and out just forgot to say that between the in and out we are going to make you and sit for three hours this event rates five stars negative, this was my second vehicle from Babylon Honda the first time they actually did what was promised and did so on time.
