I spent alot of time waiting to speak to the finance department. Not sure why the policy is that you can't speak to the finance department on the telephone. I am very disappointed with my recent visit and I will not be returning to this dealership again. The service technician/service manager(?) that initially greeted me was ext with my recent visit and I will not be returning to this dealership again. The service technician/service manager(?) that initially greeted me was extremely rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. I arrived to the service center 5-10 minutes “late” to my appointment that I booked 1 week in advance and he immediately turned me away saying it was too close to their closing time to service my car. I very calmly and politely explained to him that I had in fact arrived to the dealership on time but made the mistake of going inside to the customer care center (where you pay) instead of pulling in to the service center, and it took a few minutes before I was redirected to the right location. I also explained that I was simply bringing the car in to have the RECALLED AIRBAGS repaired and that I worked in a hospital and needed to get to work safely the next morning. I also explained that this was my one day off for the week, and the only time I could have this done. He continued to refuse to service my car, rolled his eyes, and preceded to WALK AWAY from me. It wasn’t until I went back to the customer care center and asked to speak to a manager that the service center “changed their mind” and decided to service my car (which by the way only took 15 minutes of their time). My appointment was scheduled online (and confirmed via telephone) 1 week in advance. At no point was I made aware that there was a rule regarding arriving to the dealership before my appointment time or within “x” amount of time of my appointment or else I would not be serviced. Furthermore, the closing time that the service technician referenced (which was a little over 1 hour from my scheduled appointment time) is not the same closing time that is listed online. Not to mention the fact that I did indeed arrive on time to the dealership. I am empathetic to the fact that people can have bad days, but that does not explain the level of unprofessionalism and blatant disrespect I experienced. I am a physician in a major New York City hospital (working during a global pandemic) and I was simply trying to have my car serviced on my one day off for the week so that I could safely do my job; all I expected was some common decency.
