I had nightmarish experiences at the big chain dealers and decided to give an independent a try. I can not express enough how wonderful my experience was. I DREADED going to another dealer and Mark DIMartino saw the look of fear and exhaustion on my face and went out of way to assure me that this dealership does not play games. He kept is word, was cordial and never pushed me beyond what I could afford and went out of his way to help me get the CRV I wanted at the price I wanted and it was beyond fair. He has cancer and stayed until the very end to help me until he was too tired. I would send anyone to see him. Lovely man who has been in the business for years and years and knows what he is doing! The finance manager who everyone knows locks you in a room and hounds you until you cave for the added "extras" and for those who can afford them, make sense, but I couldn't and Mustafa "Moose" Azizi is a perfect gentleman who you can see loves his job but is not an bully! As a single female, getting any car is a nightmare, but I can assure you that if you buy from this dealer you will not be disappointed! Congrats to the owner for staffing great employees and for running an honest dealership! More

Bait and switch tactic on lease after price was negotiated They gouged me on the price since the car value is buried on a line item mid-page when you do a lease. I leased a 2016 Pilot Touring from them. Lon They gouged me on the price since the car value is buried on a line item mid-page when you do a lease. I leased a 2016 Pilot Touring from them. Long story short: The car's advertised at $43,870, it's MSRP on the window sticker is $42,970 and I verbally agreed with their salesman Eli's offer of $42,000. After I asked about leasing, they came back nearly $100 higher per month claiming I couldn't get a low interest rate. I negotiated them back down some and they were sure to point out the capitalized cost to me at signed, which they implied included the higher interest rate. Later, I noticed in the paperwork when looking for information on payments that they changed the agreed upon price from $42,000 to $45828.24, thus padding their pockets with nearly 4 grand of money. For those interested in the details, the "high interest" they said I qualified for turned out to be only 3.79%. This is a copy of the email I sent them: Hi, I leased a 2016 Pilot Touring edition from you last month, I have a couple issues. First, I've yet to receive a statement and just received a book in the mail after the first due date with payment coupons but no information about my member number from TFCU. Luckily for me, I started combing through the paperwork to see if I missed the member number somewhere so I can at least get into their website and find them. While I didn't find the member number, I did find that you changed the agreed upon price of the car in the lease deal (a line item buried in the middle of the page) from the verbally agreed upon amount that your salesman Eli stated--$42,000--to $45828.24! Eli's voicemail from the day I bought it indicated that the lease amount was a bit higher because of my credit and the interest rate is high. Well, lo and behold, according to the terms on the paper, my interest rate is a very reasonable 3.79% ($4583.68/39 rent cost)/($47185.72 net capitalized cost + $27199.40 residual value) * 2400. So the "extra cost" that you "had to charge me" was simply you writing in a price nearly $4,000 above what we discussed, $2858.24 over the MSRP and $1958.24 over the advertised price on your website! My payment would have been roughly the same as it is now with a 7% interest rate, a figure I calculated when I asked you over the phone was the residual value was and I figured this was the "high rate" you alluded to. Instead, I have come to find that the rate is much lower and in fact you just padded the sales price substantially. I'm sure you know the FTC, among other agencies, frowns upon bait and switch tactics like this and in fact there are federal laws explicitly prohibiting increasing the price based on credit worthiness. I am kicking myself for falling for this crap, especially since I work in finance and this is the third vehicle I've leased or bought from you in 3 years--neither of which, if you want to look for a silver lining, resulted in you egregiously screwing me over. Needless to say, I guess that's not enough to fully trust your dealership (always read the ride print, eh?) and you're going to have a xxxx of time getting me ever to step foot in your place again. If I were walking around with an extra $98 per month of your money in my pocket, I'm sure you'd feel the same way. I'll give you one opportunity to explain this and remedy the situation before I start contacting Government agencies and a lawyer. Or you can smile and celebrate how you screwed over a lifetime Honda owner and bask in the great feeling that you've permanently ended our relationship and believe me, my embarrassment over failing to catch this does not exceed my willingness to make sure everyone I know avoids you guys like the plague. Is that worth an extra four grand over three years to you? I may be a fool for believing your interest rate story but even a fool realizes that bilking a customer who's given you 100 grand in business in the last three years isn't exactly a sound business strategy. Buy hey, you xxxx near pulled it off without me noticing, so I'll hand that to you as well as a hearty recommendation for the Jordan Belfort award. -Chris More

But when I got an email from Babylon Honda I have to say, I put off trading in my 2010 CRV because of the typical pitfalls that come with car buying. But when I got an email from Babylon Honda asking me to trade in my car, I bit the bullet and made an appointment. Working with Nick was a pleasure - he listened to what I was looking for in a car and helped me consider all options. Yes, it took 2-3 visits to Babylon Honda and we emailed back and forth for a week or so, but not once did Nick rush me, or push me, he simply followed up with me with helpful information for me to consider. 'Moose' made the car loan process a snoozer for me - I simply followed up on my FB posts while he keyed away at the computer. He ultimately found me a better rate with a different bank which helped a lot. All in all it was a pleasure from start to finish and I'm totally enjoying my new CRV - thank you all. More
