The New Babylon Honda

My husband and I have been doing business with Tony Fuoco at Babylon Honda since 2003 when we bought our second Accord. After a negative experience at another dealership were we bought our 1999 Accord, we we at Babylon Honda since 2003 when we bought our second Accord. We do not like aggressive tactics and want to be treated as knowledgeable customers which we are. Tony was a breath of fresh air -- always professional, low key, and extremely knowledgeable about the cars he sells. We bought a 2003 Accord EX and then came back in 2006 for a CR-V EXL. In 2009, we came back to Tony for our 2009 Accord V6 coupe. We also sent our kids to Tony. In 2006 our daughter bought her first CR-V and then in 2009 she bought another; our oldest son bought one also while our younger son picked out a new Odyssey. Today we picked up our 2014 CR-V EXL and we are hoping Tony will still be at Babylon Honda when we decide to replace our 2009. Eight new Hondas from Tony in 10 years -- he must be doing something right! More

Came in a week before to look at the car in the lot. I was interested in 2014 Accord Coupe v6 EX-L. I walked to the lot on my own without going inside the dealership and Gary was already there. He showed me the car, let me go inside it to check it out and all that. Was very friendly. Then I asked for his business card and made a appointment for the following week. After that i came in, test drove the car and sat down to make a deal. The price he gave me was excellent, after going back and forth a little bit, however there was no tension. It was a very good atmosphere, I got the car i wanted for a very good price. I arranged to have the car picked up on Monday (This was Saturday) and i called him Monday morning if they could put the wheel locks on the car as well. I came in after 6 o'clock to pick up the car and sign the papers, Gary went over the car with me and we parted ways. I knew I wanted a Honda CRV and I thought that I needed to visit several dealerships to try to get the right price--I was also getting out of my leased Honda CRV, so needed help with that as well. I had been to one other dealership, prior to Babylon, but once I started working with Luisa, I felt completely comfortable and confident that I was getting the right car at the right price. I was shopping alone, and was fearful of being taken advantage of. But Luisa took all the time I needed to answer every question I had about the car and every single line on the contract. She also thoroughly explained how the deal was working with the lease I was turning in, including the overage of miles I had incured. She did not have any attitude at all, when I asked her to re-explain something, and I found that everything she had told me when we first met, was exactly as the transaction went through in the end. No hidden fees and no surprises at all. She also respected my time restriction, and had me in sitting with David, from the finance department, who answered my questions and helped me determine how much I should put down on the car, based on my personal financial situation. They also arranged for an excellent financing package--I had shopped around and was surprised when the interest rate they quoted me was less than my local credit union. I was not hounded by Luisa after my visit, the way I am now being hounded by the other dealer I had visited. It was not a hard sell at all--her intelligence about the product and her calm and non-pushy approach won me over. I would definitely go back to Babylon Honda for my next vehicle, when I need a car for my two sons and will recommend them to friends as well. Well worth the little extra mileage to get there. If you are like me and dread the whole buying a new car process because of the typical antics that occur at most dealerships...then look no further than Babylon Honda and in particular, my salesperson Haro process because of the typical antics that occur at most dealerships...then look no further than Babylon Honda and in particular, my salesperson Harold Steinberg. Harold is the consummate professional and there was zero sales pressure. Moreover, he is genuinely nice. On the day I had to pick up my new CRV I was running over 2 hours late and I called Harold to let him know - he was so gracious and he waited for me to arrive and once I did - he patiently walked me through every feature of my new CRV - he even set up my smart phone to the car's blue tooth! Then wanted to go the extra mile and set up all my Radio presets too! Harold made sure all the accessories I ordered were installed on my CRV and he had my car prepped to perfection hours before pick up - he kept in touch with me every step of the way which resulted in the smoothest and fastest car purchase I ever experienced. I shopped at 6 different dealerships prior to Babylon Honda...which resulted in a lot of aggravation and wasted time. Do yourself a favor...if you want a Honda (in my opinion who wouldn't) go to Babylon Honda and specifically ask for Harold- you will save yourself a lot of stress.
