I started my search for a new Honda Pilot a little over a year ago. Due to a busy schedule and family commitments 2012 somehow turned into 2013. I have a couple of friends who already have the same truck so I knew a lot about it and made the decision to buy one prior to visiting any dealerships. I've been online for a very long time so I did my homework and watched every video and read every review I could find not only on the Pilot but on numerous dealerships. I'm a small business owner so I'm cognizant as to the importance of both personal recommendations as well as online reviews. That's why I'm being very precise with this particular review. I'm also sharing my experience because Babylon Honda was so exemplary in the way they did business with me that they really deserve a glowing review. Living on Long Island we have a lot of choices as to where we buy a vehicle. It was easy for me to begin to narrow down the search because of the less than stellar reviews I received and read. I did my homework on Babylon Honda and liked what I read. I had never been to their dealership and there's several other dealers that are closer to my home but I had a good feeling and it made my final list of dealers I planned to contact. It wasn't long until my gut feeling was validated. Other dealerships I visited first (only because they were closer to my home) were either the classic high pressure dealership of your nightmares or pretty incompetent. My first contact with Babylon Honda was with David Archer. David was a standout from the first moment. I made it clear I was ready to buy a Pilot right away yet David never became overly aggressive. Living in NY I think we sometimes expect most business transactions to be adversarial. I didn't want that experience. I don't treat my own clients that way. David and I exchanged a few more emails and then a couple of phone calls. I decided to make the trip to his dealership. When I arrived David and I officially met. He was as I imagined. A very nice non-pushy professional person. He proceeded to introduce me to Greg Bianca. Greg was the sales professional who would assist me over the next couples of hours buying my very first Honda. We went outside to look at the Pilots they had in stock. I had already checked their online inventory and knew they had both of the two colors I was considering (Black or Silver). Greg and I had a couple of laughs as it turned into a tougher choice than I thought. He talked about his car (it's black) and the pros and cons of that particular color. I found him to be very genuine and he didn't rush me even though it was getting late. I made my choice and picked black! We went back inside and started filling out the paperwork. When they took the truck into the back to prep it for its new home (my garage) Greg began taking me through the entire functionality of the Pilot. I knew a lot about this truck coming in but he demonstrated just about everything. I actually learned several things I didn't know. I really enjoyed and appreciated the time and effort Greg spent going over the truck. I wanted to keep the price sticker (from the inside window) and he was very meticulous in how he removed it. He also made the effort to line-up the temporary registration sticker so it could be easily removed once the permanent one arrived. This may seem trivial but I was buying a new truck and it made my experience that much better. Greg did a top notch job of making sure the truck and I were prepared. The price I paid at Babylon Honda was very competitive. I can honestly say my buying experience was great. There's a lot of buzz in the business world about gaining a "Client for Life." I look forward to buying my next new car / truck (not sure what that will be as of yet) at Babylon Honda. I would recommend them to anyone in the market for a new vehicle. I visited the Babylon Honda on Saturday and was greeted by Luisa Garfinkel. I was treated with such friendliness that I it felt that I had known her for a long time. The professionalism and expertise she displayed, considering the times we live in where quality of service has declined so drastically, it was like a breath of fresh air. I also meet Faith Egan who also displayed same qualities of Luisa. My overall experience with the Babylon Honda was so positive, that whomever I speak with I tell them, if you are looking to purchase a car go to the Babylon Honda you will not be disappointed. From the moment we walked in we knew this was a different dealership. First we were greeted by sales consultant Ted Hanlon - you could tell immediately he was going to do all that he could to help us. He did not try to sell us something we didn't want. He wasn't going to nickel and dime us to death. Ted is like a breath of fresh air when it comes to car shopping. I was so disillusioned I felt I would never get a car. Not only did we get one we got two! Not because Ted talked us into it - it was because Ted was so real with us. The payments we were quoted were so affordable we thought there would be some sort of catch. There wasn't - the price Ted quoted us is the price we are paying. We did not have any sales tricks. Ted heard what we were looking for and he did his best and gave us exactly what we wanted. Then we met with Business Manager Faith Egan. I have been in many different facets of finance and dealt with many finance people over the years - never have I met one as personable as her. She made us so comfortable and she is so hysterical! We laughed with both Ted and Faith from the moment we came in until we drove out in our new cars! Ted's outgoing personality and honesty must be commended!! He should be a trainer for sales consultants every where. I have to say the experience was more like we were with friends then car shopping. Both Ted and Faith are "Rock Stars" in the car industry! I could never thank them enough! I will recommend Babylon Honda - sales consultant Ted and business manager Faith to anyone looking for a car. Thank you Ted, Faith and Babylon Honda!! More

A few months ago I accompanied a friend to Babylon Honda to search for a new car. That day we were Fortunate to meet Ted Hanlon who helped her choose just the right car for her needs. Being in the market now Myself I chose Babylon Honda as my first stop. I was thrilled to have Ted as my sales guide.His knowledge Of all Honda models was very impressive. A true professional who listened as I told him what I wanted and needed In a vehicle.He is very courteous and friendly and caring to his customers. I bought the car but was unable to pick it up until the follow if Friday as that was the only day I could get a ride. I learned it was Ted's day off but he insisted on coming in to finalize the deal and insure everything was In order. My ride had an emergency and was unable to ring me to the dealership so I called Ted to Tell him I would be late because I had to take a cab. He wouldn't here of it and came to house to personally Pick me up so I could be in my new car that day. What an unbelievable man to do that for me. I didn't believe Phill had this vehicle although he sent me a few pictures on 6/17/13. After all of the other dealers I spoke to told me it is near impossible to get this car and there is at least a four month wait. Phill Harvey was up front, clear and very professional with the transaction. Phill went out of his way to accommodate my desperate need for this car since I had no means of getting to his dealership. Most of the transaction took place on the phone, via email, and text. I saw Phill and the new vehicle for the first time when Phill picked me up from work in Westbury and took me back to his dealership to take delivery of this vehicle. I was delighted with the product and service I received and I would happily recommend Phill to anyone looking for a Honda vehicle. A + Service builds lasting customer relationships so now I know where to go the next time I need a ride. More

This was my seconds Great experience at Babylon Honda! I leased my 2011 Pilot from here and when the lease was up, I began to shop around. I went to a Honda dealer on the North Shore (Suffolk) and was not impressed. I left and retir Ed to Babylon, where I had a great first experience. Harold was great. He is professional and straightforward. I did not experience the usual BS like what color, give me your credit card to show the manager you're serious, etc...I am happy to say that this is my second Honda Pilot and my 4th Honda in my driving life. She went to several other dealerships who were very high pressure to get the sale and didn't care about her needs. A church friend of my mom's suggested she go to Babylon Honda. David was very patient with my mom, explained everything to her, and treated her with respect. He even convinced my mom to get rid of her old cellphone and get an iPhone. When she came back, after the sale, he taught her how to use the Bluetooth. She now calls me from her car everyday. I am thankful for David's treatment of my mom, but I wish he didn't teach her that Bluetooth! :) Good job David! More
