We manage to agree on a price on the phone. My assumption was they'd give me more for my truck like we discussed the day before. I mentioned multiple times at this point that I want the 2.9% financing. My credit is stellar, shouldn't be a big deal to qualify. They'll commit to a price over the phone and agree that it'll work with the 2.9% financing. That got me back in the door and then "oh yeah, we can't give you that offer with that financing. But if we take this $2,000 rebate off that is lumped in with all the discounts you'll qualify for it..." There's no apologies, no feeling bad. No I'm sorry for wasting your time.
