Wrong information leads to wrong vehicle This is 2nd vehicle purchased here. Very disappointed in the purchase experience this time. Salesperson was completely ignorant of the product being sold. Told him we wanted to be able to pull our pop-up which weights 4000 lbs. fully loaded. Swore the Willys Jeep was rated to pull 5000 lbs. We learned, after the purchase, that it is actually rated only to pull 3500 pounds. Could not answer questions about the axles. We specifically asked if a winch could be mounted on the front bumper. Told us yes. Now we learn that the bumper will have to be replaced with a different one at a cost of $1500+ if we want to install a winch. Bottom line is we would have purchased a different vehicle if we weren't given the wrong information. The salesperson, also, was inattentive in that our time with him kept being interrupted so he could help other customers. Either hire more salespeople or ensure that your sales people understand that customers should not have to sit around and wait while other customers are being helped. It is also inappropriate, in my opinion, for the sales person to be telling me how to rate him. We asked for a brochure and was told they weren't available. But my wife was able to go pick one up off of a cabinet in the showroom when making a visit to the restroom. Spent no time familiarizing us with the new vehicle. He set up the phone connection for us, but did not show us how it was done. Only showed us how to fold the top back. No other features were discussed. Felt rushed to get out of the dealership. Bottom line is the sales experience is rated 0 stars and was extremely disappointing. More
