Today I went in to the Hyundai dealership to have my brake inspected and brake fluid change due to my pressing brakes continually going to the floor. After my vehicle was serviced there was no change in my brake performance, they still went to the floor. Recommendation by the dealership stated that I had aftermarket brake pads and shims, I only had the vehicle for eight months with no issues up until now with my braking system. Also after leaving the dealership notice the vibration and loss of power to my vehicle with the check engine light coming on, vehicle come to a complete stop in the middle of the road due to some engine problem which I only went to the dealership for brakes. Spoke with Miss Jackson in the service department she stated that she will handle it according to the technician it was a bad coil pack, but I beg to differ because my vehicle was running perfect upon arrival to the dealership. Miss Jackson did make a parts replacement for the coil pack at no additional charge, but my overall service experience was not what I expected from a Hyundai dealership. Now, I have to go get a second opinion from another Hyundai dealership about my brakes. Which involves more time and possibly money to get resolved.
